Song Saturday - Corpse

shadowhiveSo it’s the return of song Saturday, cause I’m absolutely a fail at it recently. Hopefully it’ll be back to bring a weekly thing again now.
So today’s is this, Agoraphobic by Corpse, which has been stuck in my head since I heard it.
The video is fairly simple really it’s a short animatic with the lyrics, but I think it works.
So Corpse, also known as Corpse Husband, was someone that I’d heard of but wasn’t really super aware of other than the name. Awhile back I realised he started to appear in the vc of some of the streams I watch (Foolish, Karl, Tina) and his voice is very distinctive, being so deep. (I’m still not sure if it’s naturally deep or due to a modulator thing.)
He mentioned he had a new song out a few weeks back so I decided to give it a listen, which isn’t this one (that one is called Poltergeist and it’s much more aggressive). After playing it spotify went onto this song, which I was curious about because during the r/place thing Karl, Foolish and Punz staked out an area on it and included someone’s pixel art of the Agoraphobic animatic/cover.
The song itself is completely different to the other stuff I’ve heard of his, it’s a bit slower, more… chilled out I guess is the term? But I really like it. I’ve listened to it so many times since I first heard it. I think it’s in part cause I can relate to it too? And it makes me wanna give him a hug.
I wanna watch the anime he’s in (Tribe 9 I think it’s called) especially cause he got some of his friends in as bit voices too which I think is so sweet of him.

I’m still feeling a bit… bleh. It comes and goes which is… very annoying. It also tends to be when one part of it goes another takes it’s place. Meaning there’s times when I’ve been low energy, then it goes and after awhile is replaced by headachy ness. Or something else. Which is annoying.
Battlestar ended on Thursday and… the second series is largely terrible. It’s a bit of a mess, it’s heavy handed at times, it doesn’t know what it’s really gonna be in others. It wastes ideas. And it’s obvious this is all down to executive stuff fucking it up. Which is a shame, especially since the last episode is better than all the rest put together. In large part cause they got Starbuck back and the cylons and it was actually a good story.
In its place now is Extant, which I’ll watch and see if it grabs me but… who knows.
Yesterday I did some more Lego Star Wars and I’ve now finished Episode VI so just have the sequel trilogy left to do. It really puzzles me that there was no level on the space battle of Endor, nor anything with the Endor bunker (even the open map of Endor is just the Ewok village). But the Ewoks are cute with their singing and one wants to make a podracer!
I’m still unprepared for Kill The Lights, but they have done a rerelease of their album which I wonder if it’ll be at the gig. A rehearsal pic seems to show Jay with short hair which I hope is just the light or angle. The first gig was last night so I’ll see if pics get posted or anything.
I saw Slime story have got a sale on for earth day but alas the cutest ones are already gone, which is a shame.
I’m not sure what the plan is today. I wanna watch some stuff on sky arts but I dunno what we’ll watch later. I do wanna fic a bit some more but we’ll see since my brain has been off.

I watched Battlestar but so long ago I can barely remember details now. It mustn't have grabbed me that much though as I have no desire to rewatch.

This is the original series which I remembered seeing as a kid so decided to watch (bit I couldn’t recall much) the second season is definitely weaker though. I should see the newer version (i saw a few but not main)
