Today is absolutely not my day.

So for the past week the internet has been a bit… odd. It will lose connection randomly but usually it’ll just be for a minute or two. However it has done it longer, notably at the start of mcc (where it acted up for over 1o minutes) and then again last night, just as I was starting watching Karl’s kingdom hearts stream.

I contacted Talktalk about it and they’re being… unhelpful as always. They’ve run a few tests on the line, but nothing has seemingly come out of it and I’ve not heard from them in awhile. Ugh. Could it be because of the damn socket? Maybe but who knows.

A further annoyance happened today when I opened safari and found it had lost a bunch of tabs, close to 100, and had, apparently, reverted to an older session (judging by the uni page I had open being something from weeks ago instead of the page I left it this morning). And then in trying to fix it…. I lost all the rest of the tabs I had open.

Which is so fucking frustrating and I am just…. ARGHHHH!

The main annoyance is the bunch of ao3 fics I had open to read later, which should be in my ao3 history but… I’ve likely lost some. Ugh. And yeah I’ll have to mark things for later to save them but I know I’ll forget.

So yeah I’m very…. Ugh.

Not to mention I’m tired, both from lugging the rest of the tree through the house (cause mum got someone to come tomorrow to take them) and from moving things so Naryu can’t jump on the windowsill (after her surgery). Although the latter stirred up dust and the former attired up dirt both which have made me cough.

And breath of the wild’s sequel is delayed till next year which…

And Set It Off have announced the tour isn’t till November which is sucky.

Good things? I finished the last discs of the Doctor Who season 17 boxset, which was Shada and some random stuff. I started (and finished) a game called discoloured the other night, though I missed some achievements

At least Lego Star Wars is next week

But ugh, I’m just so annoyed and ready to hide under a blankie

I had a dozen tabs open on my iPad, and something happened and I lost them ALL - or so I thought. There was a way that you could press one of the buttons on the screen on Safari, and it magically found all of my opened tabs. I don't know if it works on the laptop, but if it was on the iPad, you might play around and see... Sorry about it being a crappy week! ::hugs::

Ugh, internet connection troubles are the worst! I hope what-ever-is-wrong can get diagnosed and fixed soon.

Losing so many tabs must have been horrible! I'll keep my fingers crossed you can re-create most of them.

It really was, I had no luck which is just… but at least i have the ao3 history which I need to go through

I meant to do a thought post like usual but alas I didn’t. It’s pretty good, I’m not sure if its different from the solo release (other than being split into parts) and it’s odd there doesn’t seem to be a making of the animation. But it’s pretty cool. They even did model shots with original equipment that they had at the time

I like Shada a lot, it's so much fun and the actors are all wonderful. I'm not that fond of the animation style but I'm so grateful it was done at all that I'm happy to overlook any defects. It must have required so much work to reconstruct and record all the previously unmade scenes!

Yeah it’s so punch an interesting story. I’m glad they had most of the cast still around to do it. Yeah the animation gets a bit of getting used to but it works. So true!

Oh I feel your pain with losing all your tabs. My laptop decided to randomly do an update even though it was in sleep mode and it deleted part of a fic I was writing in my word processor. I managed to get most of it from autosave but bleh haha!

Hope things are better now :D At least you have a date for the Set It Off tour and it's not as long as some reschedules! I've got a couple of shows that have been rescheduled to 2023!!
