Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has had a nice day.

Other than the nonsense of yesterday morning the past few days have largely been ok. Mostly just watching stuff and being bundled up. Thankfully there’s been some streams as well with Wilbur being hot (manipulating people on Risk, having a partial drunk stream) and George getting to 10 million subscribers, yay! And Sapnap being cute and opening his present from Dream (and being all awww I only got Dream a PS5🥺)

Yesterday was also the last day of the advent calendars which was kinda sad. I’m not sure which of the three Lego ones is the best… ok it’s between two. The Star Wars one this up year is definitely one of the weaker ones, with the targets and weapons racks. The best thing from it is Grogu’s hover pram.

I’m sure I’ve missed something else from the past few days but I can’t think what it is.

Today’s hasn’t been too exciting. I’ve had some random things and built two of the Lego sets I got. I definitely think the new Lego slave I is the best of the two. It’s nice and swooshable, despite being a little small and having to improvise a place to store Boba’s blaster. Still it’s ready for the series to start Wednesday.

We’ve pretty much stuck to bbc1 today. It was nice seeing Lil Nas X on top of the pops, and Harrison Ford in Secret Life Of Pets 2 (I’ve not seen the first one though). I put on Encanto instead of Mary Poppins Returns and it was pretty. Bruno is so 🖤. And it’s good that the Midwives wasn’t sad like it usually is.

I did realise I had enough for a one of the hoodies I wanted so it was depending which to get. It was between George’s new one (which was limited till the end of the month) and Karl’s enchantment one which… I dunno if it’s time limited but there is a timer on the site so… I ended up deciding on George’s though, which seems to have gone through.

I am annoyed that so many things have gone live lately or are going live (Punz bees, Quackity doing a random merch thing soon and so is Wilbur). Sales are also a bit annoying of course. Argos has one of the Lego minecraft sets on clearance which I bet will go soon if it’s not already (like all Argos stuff does). [Update, yep it is]

Jay also posted a video earlier, of the band playing in the snow and he looks so…

I’m not sure what the plan is for the coming week. There are things I need to catch up on and watch in general (Ron Goes Wrong on Disney+, don’t look up on Netflix, the special features of destiny of the daleks etc).

Yeah Christmas Eve morning was definitely an annoying nightmare, ugh 🥺

We used to buy all the perishable Christmas food by getting up at 6am on Christmas Eve and heading for the shop, and it was stressful as fuck. Now, I pre-order the fruit and veg from the grocer, the salmon from the fishmonger and the meat from the butcher, buy and freeze what I need from the supermarket a few weeks in advance and just... don't stress about it. Worked like a dream this year and last year, so it's my plan going forward (honestly, at 6am on Christmas Eve, I don't want food. Deciding what we're going to eat in 30 hours is a nightmare!)

My mum had made me a fabulous tea cosy with cats all over it and my aunt gave me a new ornament for my tree (she does this every year) and frausorge sent me a lovely calendar by an artist we both like. I know Terri and Kimberly have also sent me things but international mail seems to be completely fucked up right now. I haven't had any mail from abroad in almost two weeks.

Oh that sounds cute! That’s a shame mail is screwed. I’ve not wanted to send any international things causa the pandemic which is annoying. *higs* I still need to open what you sent, but mums not sure where she put it
