So it’s the song Saturday before Christmas so. I thought about doing Christmas songs… but couldn’t think of any yesterday so…
First is Set It Off, This Christmas. (Warnings for snakes and, eww, spiders)
So I didn’t know Set It Off had a Christmas song until the last music stream before Maxx’s move. He played a bit of the video, but I didn’t see too much. The band aren’t in it alas and the video is basically a bad Santa messing up Christmas. Think nightmare before Christmas but the screw ups are intentional.
But yeah the song itself is pretty dark too, so it’s definitely not a traditional Christmas song.
Fun fact! I found out recently that Kill The Lights are on Fearless Records, the same label as Set It Off. So that means Maxx and Jay have a link together (albeit extremely tenuous) so someone fic them yes?
On the other end of the Christmas song scale…
Ok Every Snowflake’s Different isn’t technically about Christmas but it’s about snowflakes which is seasonal. Plus it has Ray being all grinning and bouncy. It’s just a cute, ridiculous little song and it’s so different to what they’d usually do… but it captures a good message which fits them.

Friday proved to be a little better. I was pretty tired from the jab and my arm was achy, but I was able to catch the Fringe ep I missed. The rest of the day was uneventful and I ended up watching Ranboo’s stream of the new five nights at Freddy’s until I got so tired.
Saturday was another pretty lazy day. When we came back from walking the pup there was a package with a card from a friend, which also included Cadence Of Hyrule! So I’m gonna try and give that a go sometime today, since my arm was aching and tiredness from the jab still.
Since I was tired I dozed in the afternoon, after watching Johnny English Reborn on itv which was pretty funny. Then we watched superman and Lois and the new weakest link which was pretty funny.
Strictly was a little odd in the way that they were one couple down and that both couples were ones we’d been rooting for the whole show. I’m not surprised by who won though.
Today is hopefully gonna be another lazy day, even though the tv seems a little bleh today so I’m likely gonna watch stuff on catch up/Netflix and such.
Plus I’m hoping to finish the fic I started after the wine stream (and hopefully game).
