All along

Last night ended up being a nuisance because the net kept blipping. It happened about 10 times and got so bad that I’ve relented and agreed to talk talk’s engineer coming… though ugh, it’s apparently not £40 but it’s £50. Which… ugh it’s an expense I could really do without. They’re supposedly coming Monday but I’ll believe it when I see it.

I was gonna watch Jawn’s stream but it kept cutting out due to the aforementioned issues but I did get a gifted sub from someone before I gave up so Jawn said my username which was cute.

I did watch the start of Evil Of the daleks, but only one ep because the stream started. I hope to watch more tonight.

Speaking of Who there’s been a trailer today for the next collection boxset, which is gonna beseason 17, which has been rumoured for awhile. Honestly I can’t remember most of the eps other than City Of Death (which I love) so it’ll be interesting to see them. Also interesting is that they’re including Shada, which I didn’t think they would. It’s a new version too apparently so I wonder what’s different. It’s strange neither Tom Baker or Lalla are on Behind The Sofa for it. I thought it might be because of his age but June Hodgson is doing it again and she’s pretty old too (though she was really good on the last ones she did!). It’s meant to be coming out in December, but… it’s a Doctor Who collection so it’ll likely be January.

I had hoped the next one would’ve been the fifth Doctor because he’s overdue another release so hopefully that’ll be the one after this.

Another trailer was for the new Resident Evil film. It looks like it’s gonna be a mix of the first two games, though I’m not sure how they’ll fit them into a single film runtime. I guess we’ll see. It’ll be strange seeing Tom Hopper as a villain.

There’s gonna be an Agatha Harkness series, which I think everyone will be happy about because she was the best part of Wandavision. Apparently Kathryn has been signed up for multiple appearances too.

There’s been some new Star Wats books which sound interesting for the most part. One is about Lando and Luke’s mission mentioned during TROS which led to it trending… mostly people composing about the film. It is a mess and the complaints are mostly valid but… yeah.

There’s a tutorial thing soon then taskmaster so I’m gonna snuggle now

Oooh an Agatha show could be a LOT of fun, I like the sound of that a lot!

City of Death is awesome! I love it so much. I'm quite fond of most of season 17 actually. The only one I'm a bit meh about is Destiny of the Daleks. I know many people regard Creature from the Pit as absolutely awful but I have a soft spot for Organon the astrologer so I don't mind it too much. Nightmare of Eden is moderately entertaining and I find Horns of Nimon absolutely hilarious. That's another that many people think its terrible but not me :-) I also really like the new version of Shada. It's a little weird to hear Tom Baker's old-man voice in the same episode as his younger voice but it's not jarring enough to put me off. The animation is a bit pedestrian but not too awful.

Me too, it’s such a fun ep! Before the seasons started coming out I was gonna watch some of the older eps and that was one I wanted to rewatch so I’m glad it’s out soon

I was watching a quiz a bit ago and it showed a clip from creature of the pit of the creature and I’d forgot how… interesting the design was. I’ve not seen the other eps in awhile so I don’t have clear thoughts on them so I’m looking forward to seeing them again!

People were wondering if they’d include Shada so it was a bit of a surprise that it’s included but a welcome one.

I was gonna include the link to the trailer in the post but I’m glad I didn’t because it’s not up anymore (indeed no who thing is, the website, twitter and YouTube are all gone) which is all part of some weird thing for the new series but it seems I’ll advised

There’s a new Who game coming out this week too so I might get that
