It never ends

shadowhiveUgh the recent sudden heat has been so annoying and ugh. I want it to shoo already. It seemed it be a bit cooler earlier cause it was cloudy, but when we walked the pup it was close and… ugh.
I was gonna go and see Shang Chi tonight but the heat has meant I won’t today. It’s meant to rain as well so… eh. Maybe I’ll watch it this weekend if it’s cooler.
Dreams lately have been so… odd. I seem to be having ones about being on holiday (last night was the clearest, in Cyprus, which is a place I’ve not been in about a decade now). It’s strange, because I can’t remember the last time I’ve been on a proper holiday anywhere so I dunno why my brain is pining for it.
Yesterday was Star Trek day, but most of the things for it were late at night our time. There was a trailer for Picard, which seems… busy. I mean there’s Q, something to do with time travel (and an alternate universe), the Borg Queen… it seems a lot. But Elnor looks hot and it looks like Seven is a main character so yay!
Even if the trek stuff wasn’t on so late, I’m sure I couldn’t watch because net was being annoying. It cut out repeatedly over the course of an hour and it’s driving me crazy.
Fringe started on Monday and I’m not three eps in and I’m very intrigued so far. Every episode seems to raise further questions. What’s the pattern? What’s the amber stuff? What’s the disc? What’s with those clones? I expect it’ll be awhile until we find any answers (and no, don’t tell me if you know!) but I’m curious.
I got the first lot of sainsburys cards with the shopping Tuesday and I got some good ones. I got Grogu, as well as a Vulptex! They look so pretty, though I’m still not sure why they don’t use the MCU as the Marvel cards. There were a few packs short, but they sent them in the post and they came today.
New Taskmaster starts two weeks today, yay!
I did do some more Skyward Sword today, completing the Sandship. It is a little odd that the boss of it isn’t the pirate captain but a tentaclely thing but…
There’s a new Lego Mario thing coming out which is a question mark block that opens to show some little worlds from Mario 64 and it looks pretty nifty. I’m sure it’ll be too much to get though.
I’m gonna snug, watch Masterchef from last night and then hopefully read The Bone Gate. I wanna try and fic this week too but I dunno, my fic brain is faily.
