A bit of a brief post now.

I had my jab yesterday, which went ok. They let me in even though air was early and the whole thing was pretty well organised. The jab was pretty quick and easy too and it didn’t hurt. The only side effects I’ve had is an achy arm and being tired (though tiredness could be due to walking there and back and everything happening).

Today’s been an easier day. We walked the pup and seen the geese… but they’re down two gooselings. They were all there just a few days ago and were quite big so I dunno what’s happened to them. The swans are back but they’re also without babies, though that could be cause they went down a stream that has a strong current when it rains, which it has lately) it’s such a shame. The moorhen babies seem to be still doing well though.

I had the Hogwarts Great Hall Lego set today. Mum had insisted, like with the microwave, on getting me something with her first money, it was originally going to be the new chamber of secrets set, but with the money issues I was considering holding off on it. Then I had a notification on twitter from a site a I follow and the hall was £30 off so I’ve had that instead. It’s a pretty good set, though the jetty is annoyingly fragile. It’s got a lot of details I’d not noticed before, the mirror stickers are shiny, there’s a chest of gems and there’s a fireplace against one wall. It also includes the basilisk and fawkes, which I find odd cause the rest of it is clearly based on the first film.

There’s been a lot of Lego sets in the sale on amazon today and I’m thinking of getting one since my money came in early. Maybe Hagrid’s hut or the new probe droid, but we’ll see. A few things have been added over the day and I don’t wanna get something and then something else comes along.

Apparently mums friend is coming Wednesday which means another trip to town which, eh. I might pop into b and m this time, but otherwise it’s an annoyance.

Ds9 is almost finished on pick as last night has just entered the final chapter of it. It’s been so good watching it again, and so nice to see Sisko’s love of Bajor grow (though that ends badly) I wonder what’ll her on when it’s done?

I’m gonna be doing the June something again this year so here’s the thing if you want it too. (It’s a daily question thing over the course of June).

I’m sure there was something else I meant to say but I’m not sure what it is now. I’m gonna watch the Friends Reunion thing tonight, since it’s on before Intergalactic.

Oh and I just saw an ad, there’s gonna be a download festival thing on sky arts from next Saturday. So there might be some good bands to watch.

Yay jab!! I'm glad the side effects haven't been too bad.

Thanks for the heads-up about the June Something! I might try to do that.

Yay for jabs!! I know you're glad to finally cross that off your list. <3

That is so many feathered friends!! I've been seeing a lot of marsh birds around lately. I mean, we're in the area for them, but but like, more than I'm used to. Blue herons and snowy egrets. They look awesome, but I am seeing what more of them this year than usual. Crows too. SO many crows.

Ooh, I might do the June question thing. I didn't keep up with the January one, but I don't have any major writing projects planned this month. *goes to check it out*

Congratulations to getting your first jab! I hope your arm isn't sore any longer.

That's so sad about the missing gooslings but nice to hear that at least the moorhen chicks are doing well.

The Hogwards Lego sets sounds awesome!

So glad you had your jab!

I hope the cygnets are okay and were just hiding. It's understandable how you can worry about the floofs when you see them all the time and then they're just gone.

The June something looks good, though at this point I should save an explanation of my user name origin as the question seems to come up in all of these kinds of challenges.
