First, it seems Willow’s cancellation was greatly exaggerated! It seems what’s actually happened is it’s taking longer for preproduction of the second season to get started (for whatever reason) so the main cast have been told they’re free to do other things. So it seems we will be getting more, it’ll just be a bit of a longer wait.
The other thing is less good because Lance Riddick (from Fringe, Destiny 2 and Quantum Break) has died at 60 which is so sad. He was great in everything he was in. I’ll have to find something of his to watch (maybe this’ll finally be me watching the Resident Evil series he’s in).
Last night was Red Nose Day/Comic relief so I watched that. I dunno though, is it just me but are these things not as good as they used to be? I think there was only three good parts of the main show, the Eurovision thing (which included a Dalek singing!), Ghosts and The Traitors. Those last two are things I’ve not seen the actual shows but having Kylie in Ghosts made it fun (and everyone in the traitors bit).
I finished the last interview on the Who ray boxset so that’s done now. According to the opening it was filmed in 2018 which is very early considering this was only just released (at first doctor seasons would hardly be easy to do) though at the same time it makes sense since William Russell is the oldest surviving cast member.
The sorry boys extra vid got posted last night too and… I’ve said it before but half the time these things feel like the start of a smut fic or porno.
Today we were able to go a bit further on Naryu’s walk today to go and see the ducks (only there weren’t many but there were swans and geese). Usually we go that way a few times a week but due to the bad weather and mum’s ankle we’ve not gone too far. Her ankle seems to be getting better but some days she says it’s still throbbing. She should probably see someone if it’s still so bad but she’s stubborn (and the aforementioned weather hasn’t helped). She’s also having issues with her kindle, which probably means it needs to get looked at. Another piece of technology that’s failed these past months.
Tonight’s MCC and I’m still not settled who to watch, though it might be Foolish. And then I’m not sure what I’ll do tonight, mostly cause it depends how I’ll feel. I might watch Scream (since I disc switched) or go on the Resident Evil 4 demo. We’ll see.
There’s just over a week till the Lovejoy gig and I can feel anxiety start to rise. I have the nonsense from the Set It Off gig in my head, so I’m worried about both getting stuck there and getting in (cause I have a digital ticket and just my pad and I’m nervy about a bag). I’m gonna try and call see if the second part can be relieved but calls make me nervous too and I think they’ll be unhelpful. I’ve also been looking at the merch and the hoodie is the main thing I like so maybe I’ll get that (I am surprised there’s no cds though), though I’m hoping James’ merch will be nice/reasonable too (I just wish I’d have some idea but my date’s the first he’s on) but we’ll see. I just hope nothing screws up.
(And speaking off them I’m surprised that Wilbur’s gonna been on the QSMP what with all the touring and stuff, I’d have thought he’d be the last person to get added to a new thing)
Now though I’m gonna finish noms and watch stuff, though we’ll see how much/what I end up watching
