So this is Waterparks new video Fuck About It. I’ll be honest, I’ve fell out of love with parx since last seeing them. Unfortunately this is (much like MCR) due to the toxicity of the fan base which has put me off them. However because of their placement on the pod thing Waterparks follows Set It Off, so often I end up listening to them when I put on SIO (and getting disappointed because of the shirty fan base cause of the boys being pretty and liking the songs).

Of course that has also been helped by the new songs not being great. Funeral Grey is ehish (though the song at least gave us Awsten I’m a collar) and I only heard self-sabotage once and disliked it (maybe I ‘lol give it another chance) so when Fuck About It came out I didn’t listen to it right away, but when I did I instantly liked it. I’ve listened to it more times than the other two songs combined.

I can’t exactly place why I like it though. I guess it kinda ‘feels’ like the other parx songs that I’ve liked (even though it has another guy on there).

This morning’s been the first time watching the video and it’s pretty good. The boys look pretty and I like the setting is like, a museum so there’s lots of art which looks pretty good. (I’ll be honest I kinda wondered if Otto was meant to be an exhibit). So yeah, I hope more songs on the album are like this one, but I guess we’ll see.

I have thought a bit recently about retiring song Saturday or at least changing it to be it’s own thing (because too often I’ll post the song stuff, then add general stuff and people react to the general stuff but not the song which feels like it makes making them kinda pointless.) i guess I’ll see how I feel after new year (if I do I might do Weathers some more cause I’m curious)

So this is ending being started earlier than I expected. (I expected to do this later in the afternoon but here we are)

First off, I took the pad while walking the pup and got these pics it wasn’t quite as pretty as it was earlier in the week but it still looks nice.

I think last week was the last week we’ll watch the weekday Christmas films on 5. (I dunno if there’s any this coming week actually). Out of the six we watched (well two I half watched cause xbox uk stream) there were people with early Alzeimers, with the first having it as a main focus. It wasn’t until later I realised how much it got time which is.. annoying. Mum’s been fatigued by them too so it’ll be easy not to watch them. (We didn’t watch Fridays ones anyway, instead watching the Christmas Shakespeare and Hathaway ep which was so good, though you could tell it was filmed ages ago because the last scene mentioned the queens speech.)

So this week we’ll only be watching one Christmas film (at least for now, maybe that’ll change), which is Muppet Christmas Carol aka the best one. Bonus? Disney+ has added a version with When Love Has Gone back in which I’ve missed.

I am intending to try and watch the Doctor Who christmas eps soon too since I’ve not seen most in so long. I’ve meant to start it the last few days but things have come up and I’ve got distracted so… maybe today? If not then tomorrow. And speaking of Who I am working on the post of ep recs which might be up before Christmas. Also speaking of Who I’ve not watched more of season 2 yet (I’ve not watched the one special feature on planet of the giants yet) and I think that’s solely down to timing. So hopefully I’ll get back to it next month.

This is gonna ruin the flow slightly, but I had to pause typing this cause it’s started to rain so I went to get Leia in (no sign of her though) and when I checked the shed there was a strange white cat in there. They seemed scared of people (they shied away and hissed at me) but I took some food and water back to them. Hopefully they’ll be ok.

Back to thoughts.

One of the reasons I didn’t watch season 2 of Who (aside from feeling low energy/depressed) was because of a promise of Wilbur and Quackity streaming together again. On Thursday night that finally happened with the wine stream part 2. The best parts were at the start (Wilbur saying it looked like a snuff film randomly, and comparing one bottle to a dragon dildo) and the end (when George called them randomly). I think the first one might’ve been better, but it was still cute.

Uni has technically broke up for a few weeks but I’m still slightly behind which is annoying. I’m hoping to finish the reading I have to do before Wednesday but we’ll see.

I also wanna do some more conning one of the mornings, and I’ll need to either shift icons around or get more slots (so if you wanna but me some feel free).

I’ve done some more Pokémon, doing a team star base and a titan (it’s funny how the titan quests, which I thought going in was the least interesting part has turned out to be more interesting, same with team star). I’m hoping to do the next gym soon though. I think the reason I’ve stalled is I like to focus on it completely, but I’ve not been able to. (With fortnite or fall guys, who have had events that distracted me too, I could do them while watching random stuff)

Speaking of gaming the Xbox Christmas sale has started, so I might get something from it (using my Xbox reward points to get credit towards them). Main thing I’m curious about is Elden Ring, so I think I’m gonna give some Xbox reviews a look to see (cause it’s finally got a discount). I have to admit I feel bad for people that got the quarry in the game awards sale, because now it’s even less (£35 in the game awards sale to under £20 now). I’m a bit annoyed myself at that cause I would’ve preferred it download so I don’t have to disc switch but…

I did finally start The Quarry last night though, doing the prologue (thouh it is annoying I had to look up how to change the outfits, the 80’s ones are pretty good so far!). I did miss the first tarot card, though to be fair, it was somewhere in the dark forest bit which was hard to navigate. But it looks great and I’m looking forward to doing more, which I might do tonight.

Also yesterday, although earlier than the quarry, everything seemed to happen. We watched White Christmas on Amazon prime in the afternoon, then I dozed and then put on bbc for the night. Not that I watched much cause I was on the mr beast fortnite event (not doing well), watching Karl’s stream and then Ranboo’s (alas I missed the lore streams of Philza/Niki so I’m gonna watch sometime soon). So I also wasn’t fully watching strictly, but I put all our votes into Hamza so I’m glad (and surprised) that he won! Then I watched Jonathan Ross’ Christmas thing and Adam Lambert was on and he sung which is always 💜 he has a new album out in feb and it sounds some are covers so I’m curious.

There was also this interview with Palaye Royale which, yeah it came out at the wrong time for me to read anyway, but they just look so pretty in the pics(really leaning into the incest hoe vibes) so I might have to fic them soon, though I dunno when (cause I wanna do a wimp before Christmas, and hope to do a Christmas fic).

I’m thinking, as I often do this time of year, of changing my username though I’m honestly not sure what to. I know if I do decide it’ll have to be before snowflake challenge starts (and the Fandom50 thing which I might do.) Though I guess we’ll see.

Todays plan? I’m gonna watch His Dark Materials and Frankie Drake later, hopefully the quarry or Who, but we’ll see. (And maybe watch something else depending on the energy). I also wanna fic some or Pokémon, but we’ll see. It’s also Foolish’s birthday today and he looks so damn pretty in this vid
