Spooky season has begun
Sep. 25th, 2022 08:16 pmI dunno why, but my focus wasn’t super there for MCC last night. I’m entirely sure why. At least Ranboo’s outfit was pretty cool, he was Sans from Undertale so no skirt or dress this time but he did have make up.
I’d been meaning to start spooky season stuff sooner, by watching or gaming spooky things. But between stress of the pad and not feeling well it just didn’t happen. So from now on I’m hoping to watch (or game) at least one spooky thing a day, even if it’s just a Treehouse of Horror ep on Disney+.
So last night I decided to watch the first thing, which was the new Ghost Files episode. It’s a new YouTube series by the guys that did Buzzfeed Unsolved, which is something I’ve only kinda seen (and mostly via people’s streams). I was pretty entertained by it (even though tiredness was getting the better of me towards the end) and I recognised some of the new tech as things Wilbur and George used on their ghost hunt thing. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the series as it goes on and I’ll hopefully be watching it on release night going forward (which is Friday).
I’m not sure what I’ll watch for spooky season today, it’ll depend how tired I am I guess. (Especially since Quackity is meant to be doing a stream later)
Good news about today, it seems the sore on my tongue has eased up which is a plus.
We ended up watching two films today on channel 5. First was Murder She Said which is one of the Marple films with Margaret Rutherford, who is so entertaining to watch. I wonder if they’ll put the other three films on consecutive Sundays. Following that was Crooked House which I’d not seen, but I saw the cast list and got curious. (It was odd though, that Channel 5 had things in the ad break saying they’re family films… Crooked definitely isn’t.) It was pretty good, though it did end a bit abruptly. I did guess who was behind it in the second half but I think it’s because I must have watched an adaption of it elsewhere (I’m assuming there is one it is an Agatha Christie thing after all.)
I did some Dreamlight Valley this afternoon after that, which is a bit annoying because I started a quest line that requires mushrooms, which seem to be so slow to respawn.
I’ve also been doing the splatfest on splatoon today. The options were what you would bring to a desert: grub, gear or fun. I went with fun… solely cause it’s Big Man’s option, because he is 💜. (If you dunno who Big Man is he is here)
I also finished the latest Fall Guys event quests though I’m still puzzled by it. It was a Hatsune Miku event and you had to collect two things: glow sticks and spring onions. I’m still puzzled as to why spring onions were one of the collectibles. I mean the first one makes sense as she’s a singer but the onions?
Fortnite had a birthday event which I managed to finish yesterday. The presents were the hardest thing to find as they seemed to be so rare which feels a little unfair for an event.
The rest of tonight I’m watching the new detective thing on itv, then there’s Quackity’s stream (whenever that is) and I might watch something else. Probably something short due to recent tiredness.
