Song Saturday (on a Sunday, kinda) - CG5
Jan. 10th, 2022 12:35 amYeah this is totally late cause I was tired yesterday and today but here is today’s (tonights?) songs, both by CG5.
First is Injustice which is a Technoblade inspired song (and came out just before he hit 10 million subs!) it’s based on his SMP character and I picked up some references even though I’ve only seen the prison break and read some of the stuff
The vid’s a simple animated one, with Technoblade strumming on his guitar and the lyrics on the other side of the screen. (I dunno if Techno has/has long pink hair but that seems to be a common depiction of him in art.
Second is Superstar, which is based on the latest Five Nights At Freddys. Like the other one it’s animated but has a lot more going on including scenes from the game I recognise from the plays I’ve seen of it.
It felt appropriate to include this one since I’m most likely gonna be doing a Glamrock Freddy/Quackity soon so.
(Also it’s amusing to me that there’s a sliding scale based on the three DreamSMP people that have played it and their reactions to the opening. Ranboo ‘this is awesome!’ Quackity: ‘they’re so hot!’ Dream: ‘can we skip this?’)
I’m gonna be watching Dream’s stream of it soon, though from what I’ve heard he won’t be doing it again.

There’s only two exciting things that have happened that are noteworthy. First, the lego delivery came yesterday, yay! I built all the sets I got now and I might post more in-depth thoughts sometime, but the fox lodge is cute and the minecraft axolotls are adorable. I also got the brickheadz pets on sale, the cockatiels and hamsters. There’s an issue with the former, as they’re sitting on perches which seem to come off easily which is a shame because they’re cute otherwise.
Secondly, I watched two films, one Friday and one Saturday. Friday’s was sea fever and… it was ok. Could have done with much more of the creature. The second one was Lake Placid which I really enjoyed, though it’s a shame Betty White wasn’t in it more.
Tommy posted his hunger games vid today too and that was funny. I’m so glad Wilbur was in it because he was so… Unf. And Ranboo as the overlord thing? That was awesome too.
