Wear a mask with a smile
Dec. 16th, 2021 01:18 pmDespite the past few days being bleh, there has been some good things.
On Monday we came back from walking the pup and there was a card though the door saying we’d missed something, but this time it was with a neighbour. It turned out to be the Lego Star Wars advent calendar so I spent some of the afternoon catching up on the builds.
Thoughts on it so far? It’s a bit of a mixed back. The little builds are good, but there’s been a return to weapon racks which were present in earlier ones (and abandoned in more recent ones) which are a bit sucky. Plus there was one day that was just… targets. Not even Star Wars themed targets either. So that day was a bit bleh.
On Tuesday there was some more mail. First there were the preorder bonuses from pokemon diamond (that I really need to get back on) which was a little figure and a pin badge, but the box was really huge in comparison. Then there was another which I assumed was the marvel advent calendar, but was, instead, filled with wrapped presents from my friend which I had no idea was coming. Two are to me and two are to mum (cause said friend has a smol and mum has sent knitted hats and stuff for her) so that was nice.
Yesterday the marvel advent calendar came and, like with the Star Wars one, I did a catch up build that afternoon. It’s not exactly in a stable place, but there’s some nice stuff in it. There’s some nice figures as well as some builds.
Also yesterday I found from the Sapnap tumblr tag that there’s a Mamma Mia fic with the guys from the DreamSMP. It took awhile to get in the mindset to read it, and I’ve only read the first chapter, but it’s so funny, especially with George being the serial groom and called pretty privilege. And with Wilbur, a Schlatt and Sapnap being the potential dads. I hope I get the energy to read more later and that it does get finished.
I’ve got my booster booked for Friday, though it took a few tries to get sorted cause the site was a pain and kept reloading.
Annoying things:
*One of the wings of my minecraft bees has gone missing and, with it being a small clear piece, it means it’s hard to find.
*We ordered some stuff from pets at home and, while most of it came Sunday, the Guinea pig food seems to be awol
*it seems that the Dream Christmas hoodie wasn’t one of the things processing from mums money despite me doing it as soon as it went in which is a bit disappointing. I might try and sort it when my next money goes in but that’s not till Christmas Eve so it might be gone by then (then again it might have a sale)
*Tiredness has been annoying so I’ve not done the gaming or watching stuff I hoped to do
