The cliff over there
Dec. 9th, 2021 01:06 pmYesterday ended up being pretty exhausting, because I had to pick up my meds (which thankfully are now all in the small tablets at last) and I ended up getting a few things… but those things ended up being heavier than I expected and by the time I got finished lugging them back home (as I was alone) I was so achy and tired. Annoyingly I couldn’t doze off even though I was tired, bleh.
This morning has been a bit annoying because I woke up and safari lost a bunch of tabs (I’m not sure how many, I think between 5-10 but it’s still annoying). Especially since I was using the pad for assessment tabs to save switching on the laptop.
Speaking of assessment I submitted it this morning. I’m not happy with question 1, because it’s to do with identifying minerals and I was never good at it during the reading. (It does not help that the identification guide will say they’re different colours but they all look white/grey/black to me)
Other things!
The minecraft talent show Video went up Tuesday night and it was so funny. From Techno saying ‘my talent is judging people’ and joining the judges, to Sapnap being cute and the Sparkly abs song. I hope they do another one because it was so funny I might even watching it again.
Both Lego advent calendars have been ordered now, with the marvel one being posted. I did order the Dream hoodie too but I’ve had no notifications yet, but then it has been busy.
I practically speed run the Assassins Creed Valhalla festival the past two nights, which is lucky cause it ends today. I got everything from it, but I’m annoyed I missed the recent event with a unicorn. BOOO! Although this festival had werewolves for some reason. (Are werewolves part of Norse mythology?)
Bandom Big Bang sign ups is starting, which is something I wouldn’t normally post about a: because I am useless at long fic cause I get distracted and 2: because bandom, but I feel I have to comment. New mods have taken over this time and they’re already making restrictive policies (no ‘problematic’ pairings or topics and they’re already banning people on tumblr). So it just seems like another event corrupted by these kinds of people.
However in response people have made the Bandom Summer Blowout, which is without such things and is open to everyone. So that’s just a heads up if anyone is thinking of doing that.
Quackity has been hinting he was going to Florida and it seemed he was gonna see Dream and Sapnap but then he posted pics last night… with George, in London. And then they did streams after. It was so chaotic of them to trick everyone like that but it definitely seems like the kinda thing they’d do. They were very chaotic and pretty together and I hope they’ll be more pics of them (and maybe Wilbur too since he’s on his way back and tagged Quackity).
I got my Kill The Lights ticket, which means I need to actually listen to them more now, oop. I’ve never gotten a ticket to a gig without listening to the artist a fair bit (with the exception of the Shikari gig but in fairness that was cause I was going for Palaye) but Jay.
Blind Channel have announced a uk tour next year so I might go see them.
I’m hoping to do some icons today or tomorrow, as well sorting more additions to the post I mentioned in the last one but didn’t because of tiredness and such.
For now I think I’m gonna put on the Galaxy 4 special features. I might do some of the new Winterfest demos later too (and there’s the last Maxx stream for awhile and the game awards late tonight).
