Yes it’s an early song Saturday, with the new Set It Off song, Skeleton!
(Warnings, some blood but not that much)
So first the song. I caught it when it went live on Spotify at midnight and it’s so good. Although I have the 8Bit version from the site in my head a bit. There’s so much too it and just 🖤
Yesterday the band updated their twitter with pics of them (and Maxx and Cody changed their profile, Zach is terminally offline though so doesn’t have one). Those pics revealed their new hair, Maxx (which we knew) is green, Cody is pink and Zach is blonde. (Amusingly Cody and Maxx’s pics look no thoughts, head empty). Maxx said the aesthetics for the new album would be different to Midnight and he was definitely right!
That look extends into the video itself. (Which I wasn’t sure there’d be one today because after all they didn’t mention a video, but then as soon as I thought that? They tweeted there’s a video)
First off it starts what was the preview vid the other day, which is them standing and looking at a portal in black and white. There’s a flashback style thing to the Midnight videos (which does that make them connected? If so how because they died in two of them) and what looked like a smashed hourglass.
Then they step through the portal and everything is different. It becomes bright and colourful and it makes me think a bit of the waiting room in Beetlejuice (which I’ve not seen in ages). It’s amusing that there’s a demon with 666 and a woman with 69 on them, with the boys having 11, 12 and 13. There’s flashes of them in a room together and a medical room, but most is in that waiting room, sometimes with them all together, sometimes just Cody.
Then number 11 gets called and Cody is dragged out to a room, laid on a medical bed and there’s some blood, implying some kind of surgery but it’s not clear what. Unfortunately this is towards the end of the video, so we don’t see if Zach and Maxx get the same treatment, but maybe future vids will continue this? I hope so because I’m curious (and yeah I wanna see what happens to Maxx but shh)

I haven’t fully been able to settle today, partly because I was waiting on the video, but also because I was waiting on the Guardians delivery (which of course came as late as possible). I managed to fit half an hour in and it’s good so far, though I encountered a glitch when I picked something up, boo. I’ll go on it properly tomorrow.
I’m gonna try and write a little then ???
I was thinking of watching Noroi tonight, but I don’t think I could manage subtitles.
Annoyingly yesterday I missed a package while out with the pup and also my Facebook got hacked and sent out a bunch of messages, ugh. And Game added stress by messing around with peoples preorders and then cancelling them. But a book I’d ordered came which was good and Taskmaster was fun (Marco! We love Marco in this house) and the new version of Pokemon cafe mix is up which is fun
Last night I felt drained which was annoying but it was nice to just listen to the rain. I watched the spooky Halloween Pokemon eps and, again, some were just random but then it ended on a haunted house one which was amazing and spooky.
