So going to Free Comic Book Day 1 depended on more information, ideally a list of comics. I sent a tweet to the Forbidden Planet doing it and, apparently, I wasn’t alone. On Wednesday they posted the list of comics and it turned out there’s going to be 15 comics on the day, 3 on my must get list. (Star Wars, Valhalla and Life Is Strange) So I’m gonna go tomorrow, but alone.
It’s gonna be stressful, being my first time in the city since the pandemic began. I’ve got it planned out exactly where I’m gonna go and, since I’ll be alone, it should be fairly quick. I’m hoping to get some Lego and the Xbox krispy kremes, anything else? It depends what there is.
The plumber came early Wednesday morning and it took him about five minutes to sort the leak that’s plagued us for ages. It was apparently caused by something in the tank itself (I didn’t hear, I was upstairs keeping ahold of Naryu).
I’ve done some Valhalla and I’ve actually finished a questline this week, the Glow one. (The old name for Gloucestershire) it was pretty interesting, being a mystery and I like how each questline seems to be different. Next I’m doing one in a town. Though ugh, Sigurd is an ass.
Yesterday I had my jab and it knocked me out a bit, I was tired and ended up going to bed pretty early, though sleep was annoyingly restless. My arm’s been more achy than the first one, which has been a bit annoying.
Today I went to home bargains, because we ran out of dry cat food and they didn’t seem to be any anywhere (and the price had gone up). Thankfully they had some, as well as everything else mum sent me in for, bar sawdust which seems to be nowhere anyway.
I finished reading a into The Dark today, which I’d hoped to do this week, because I saw how close I was to the end. I loved the characters, and I hope we see more of them going forward, which I hope we will. (Especially Geode and Leox) There’s some plot lines that I hope will be bought up again too.
The sequel to Lesser Known Monsters came out today, so I’ve got it downloaded on my pad ready to start on the trip in the morning.
There’s also been a Pokemon stream announced for next week. I hope it has Unite news as well as stuff about the many series.
Gonna spend the rest of the night taking it easy. I might watch something after Magnum PI, or maybe game some.
