I’m looking at the desk!
May. 2nd, 2021 01:04 pmWe were thinking of walking the pup up the canal yesterday to see the horses, but the weather looked like it was gonna be too bad so we didn’t. Although it rained a little towards the end of the walk it actually brightened up a bit in the afternoon.
The afternoon was spent watching Castle, or rather mum watching castle and me on Pokemon snap marvelling at how pretty it all is. I did the water levels yesterday and unlocked the snow island, which are all so pretty. I think I’ve almost unlocked all the locations but we’ll see.
I finally started the last Clone Wars season last night. The original plan was to do a complete rewatch before doing it, but I got to season 3 and then… kinda failed which sucks. I do wish I’d seen the citadel eps as this was relevant for this one.
But anyway, I wanted to at least start the season before Bad Batch came out on Tuesday and the first arc was their introduction. I didn’t know too much about them going in, most of what I knew was from the figures/galaxy of heroes, but they’re actually pretty interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing more of them. I liked the new droids too and it was nice to see Clone Wars era Y-wings in action again too. And the whole scene with Padme was very😮 mostly due to what happened as a response.
The rest of the season is Ahsoka focussed so I don’t have to watch it before Tuesday but I definitely want too. I especially want to see the Mandalorian arc that closes the season.
After that I watched Macgyver and then decided to watch something spooky. I ended up watching the Block Island Sound on Netflix cause it sounded (heh) like it could be interesting. I’m not entirely sure about it, I guess partly cause I was hoping it would turn out to be a more sea related thing than it actually was. Plus, there were so many people that were assholes and I really felt for the main guy, I mean he loses his dad and then has to deal with an asshole at the funeral as well as a sister that’s just bitchy.
I finished off Juno Steel and the Kitty Cat Caper and it’s amusing how un-cat like the cats are in it. And it’s also so funny how technologically inept Juno is (not knowing that you needed to turn a computer on, thinking the desktop meant the actual desk).
Speaking off technology I lost a bunch of my tabs on safari on the pad and I’m not sure how. I managed to restore some of the ones I had open (about half) but lost the older ones. Which, ok most of those had been open for months (ok a lot of months, ok some were there for way over a year shush) but it’s still annoying. And it’s sad seeing some of the tabs were to ao3 fics that aren’t there, boo.
Today’s mostly gonna be a lazy day, so I might go on snap and watch clone wars some more (and maybe game tonight), plus there’s new Batwoman. I’m not completely sold on the sudden change to a new Batwoman, because I did like Kate, but the new one is likeable enough.
