The blood moon rises
Dec. 3rd, 2020 12:10 pmThe Set It Off gig was Saturday and, yep, it was at a much better time than I thought (I think I’d used the wrong time zone to work out the time). It was a great show and I’m so glad I decided to watch it. It was very energetic and they put on quite the show, and Maxx did a song! It was so cute🖤
Although they did announce a book and, ugh, it’s so much and shipping would no doubt make it more (I’d love it and the Palaye one but it’s the money and shipping).
Before the show I went on Civilisation VI that I got in the sale, although ugh! The controls were odd and the left stick kept going in the north east direction making it hard to do anything. Support suggests I uninstall and redownload it so I’m gonna give that a go,
Sunday was mostly a rest day, partly causa the fall and partly cause I knew Monday would be busy. (Mum did decide to make a cake on Saturday causa the fall so that was nice). There a new Who trailer for the Christmas (well New Year) special and eee Captain Jack! And I love the new dalek look, though I’m really getting Victory Of The Daleks vibes from the whole thing. (And why would humans actually be ok with these drones? Don’t they remember the events of the stolen Earth?)
Monday was annoying cause of picking up glasses and then going to get mums meds which were both in different directions. I picked up the set we ordered from Argos ok while mum went to get the meds but... they weren’t there. (Leading to mum being annoyed at the doctor for not sending it.) Boots were meant to call the next day to say that they were ready but... nothing.
We went to M and S to use a voucher but they didn’t have the stuff mum hoped for (the fancy gin, the other fizzies, pumpkin spice) which was annoying though we did get some bits,
Tuesday was the start of December which meant that it was advent calendars. I’ve been posting pics on twitter and insta, cause this time I have four: the Lego Star Wars one, Lego Potter, Nightmare Before Christmas tree and a galaxy chocolate one. It’s the most I’ve ever had so it’s a little strange, but the Lego ones have been nice (even though the ship in today’s potter one was a little awkward).
Also on Tuesday first Lego delivery came, with everything but the razor crest, and also the food shop.
I’ve done some gaming, namely Animal Crossing to start to get toy day stuff. I finished Hyrule Warriors Age Of Calamity yesterday and the feels I got! As I suspected it ended up being timey wimey at the end (so although it’s advertised as a prequel, it’s actually another branch of the timeline) but even so it gave me feels for the lil robot. Post game stuff seems to be less than the first Hyrule warriors, though who knows what might get unlocked from doing the map missions (though ugh getting all the materials for them will be annoying).
I’ve not done much Xbox stuff, I’ve thought about it but after finishing Hyrule Warriors yesterday I really didn’t wanna do anything (and other days I’ve been tired). I might do something tonight. There’s a bunch of stuff added to gamepass, including one of the games I didn’t get in the Black Friday sales and one I’d considered getting in the sales before but didn’t, so yay!
Other things:
*I’ve not heard back about the amazon code I won. I tried loading the file with it on the laptop but it didn’t work there either
*The winter festival in the latest Night Vale sounds nice, even if the snow wasn’t really snow
*I’ve done some of the assessment, I’m gonna try and finish it later while mum’s at the library
*I need to get back to reading certain POV, maybe tomorrow
*Tree isn’t up yet, may go up this weekend but we’ll see
*I’ve not watched much though did put on some Bob’s Burgers
*It looks like I’ve missed out on the Greymoor special edition since it’s no longer on game
