Chase away the summer heat
Jun. 25th, 2020 11:23 amCan this heat just go away now? It’s already so annoying. We’ve started walking the pup earlier (from yesterday) but it’s still too warm. Ugh. We went canal way today since there’s meant to be a storm tomorrow. I’m not sure how true that is though but I hope so.
(Naryu was naughty last night, she managed to grab a bag of her dentastik things and ate them all!)
Causa the warm and going earlier it means I’m not gonna get much done upstairs as planned. I only started to mess around up there Tuesday and already the plan to do more is scuppered. Ah well. Doing upstairs isn’t something I’m good at or motivated for anyway. I was hoping to get some of the big finish listened to and download some of the blm games bundle downloaded but turning the laptop on feels like a chore (plus added heat). So I just put on magnus Archives. I finished 133 this morning and it’s so good.
I need to sort the next uni course out, I’m gonna try before the end of the month.
So yesterday was the second Pokemon presents vid and... well. It was for a new mobile game called Pokemon unite. It looks like it could be good but people had got themselves hyped up and were disappointed. I think it woulda worked out better as one presentation so there wouldn’t have been that.
The new free to play game, Pokemon cafe mix, came out yesterday and it is pretty fun. The art style as so cute even though some of it can be tricky.
One of my Star Wars books came yesterday, Alphabet Squadron which wasn’t meant to come till next month (though I’m annoyed it was paid instead of free delivery). I’ve still not read the first one so... I’m hoping to read more books this summer, I’ve got so many to read but I get too drained. I’m hoping to read this afternoon though.
Last night I finished off the doctor who season 14 bonus disc. The best part was the in conversation piece, which are always good. The moving on piece was a little dry though the ancient call my bluff was quite entertaining. (As was the toy advert, Leela and the dalek looked so off but the rest looked good.) since the season is done I may disc switch for clone wars to watch sometime or a film.
After that I didn’t feel like gaming so I put on Netflix and settled on the good place season 4. I watched the first three eps which were fun and I suspect I’ll watch more tonight. (I still need to watch dragon prince season 3 which I may soon after that.)
It was nice yesterday night too cause the mcr server was active a bit like it used to be (though I was sad to find out cody had been harassing someone which lead to me changing my Twitter setting so only followers can dm me).
Tonight I’m gonna watch the usual Thursday stuff, including Magnum PI, then gonna game on Xbox thoughnot sure what yet. Elder Scrolls online? Deliver Us The Moon? One of the game pass quest games for this week? One of the short games I’ve meant to do? Fallen Order? We’ll see.
