They're all going somewhere
Jun. 13th, 2018 10:27 amLast E3 post now, unless something big gets announced in a Nintendo treehouse.
Monday was the Ubisoft show. It started off crazy, with dancers for Just Dance including, for some reason, someone in a panda costume. No, I dunno why either. After that there were some pretty good games shown. Beyond Good And Evil 2 looked awesome and the cinematic trailer really sold me on it. Starlink looked like it could be pretty cool, I hope more gets shown off in the Nintendo treehouse since the Arwing from Star Fox got announced for it. Transference also looked like it could be an interesting, especially since Elijah Wood is involved. Rabbids dlc was shown off, which reminds me I have to go back on Mario and Rabbids properly. (Which has been the case for some many reveals.)
Lastly was Assassins Creed Odyssey which looks so awesome. It's clearly using the same sorta graphics as Origins, but I'm ok with that cause they were amazing. Plus the end revealed a minotaur! Post game info revealed romances are part of the game, so you can romance people in game regardless of the gender of your character, which is awesome.
There does seem to be a large amount of post apocalyptic stuff at E3 this year, which is kinda... I dunno. It seems a bit like oversatuation and just... eh.
I watched the Inside Xbox after it but there was nothing that was terribly memorable apart from Outer Wilds which looks cool.
Then yesterday was the Nintendo E3 direct. There was a new Fire Emblem announced and some other info, but not too much. The main focus was on Smash Bros and it revealed a lot of info about it. (To the point where 60%+ of the whole Direct was Smash.) Everyone from previous games is back and they announced two new characters, Daisy and Ridley. I had hoped it would reveal more new people though. It looks cool though and it's something I'll definitely get.
Like I said that's it for E3 rambles unless the Treehouse reveals anything major tonight or tomorrow.
I should be doing my next assessment but, ugh this heat
