shadowhiveThis week has been a little uninteresting mostly. I’ve been feeling so tired lately and I’m not entirely sure why. Then again, the world right now is just so... Exhausting.
So we’re approaching a second lockdown it seems, which everyone saw coming. But the announcement I heard of it was there’d be a ‘circuit break’ to keep schools and offices open. Wtf! Whatever happened to schools would only be open if it was safe? You can guarantee the government won’t give people the help they need if it happens (extending furlough, increasing testing, ubi). It’s ridiculous. (And don’t get me started on Rees Mogg and his ‘carping on’ comments, the contemptuous asshole)
Ugh anyway.
I’ve done most of the things on the list I set up Monday which is a surprise, the only things I haven’t done is go on fallen order, watch a dvd/blu ray (which I’ll do tomorrow) and write (though I have done a few lines).
I did more Spiritfarer and ugh, the feels. I had saying goodbye to the spirits but Alice... it was just sad to see her go because it reminded me of my nan so much. 💔 And boo, poor Astrid and that asshole of a husband of hers. I do think I’m getting close towards the ‘end‘ of it though. It seems there’s one more spirit that I don’t have on the boat and there’s one type of barrier left to get through on the map. (Although to get through it means saying goodbye again to two more)
I started the sims 4 on Xbox and did the tutorial which was... annoying. It was so restrictive in what you could do, which I guess makes sense in terms of it being a tutorial but just... ugh. but that’s done so hopefully I can have more fun (it’s already given me the option to go to Batuu which I haven’t yet.) an annoying thing though is that you can link an ea account to get access to a free item... but it won’t let me link to my current account and keeps trying to link to a mystery email. Wtf? Let me change it
On Thursday I had mail, the new Umbrella Academy comic about Klaus and it’s so fun so far. I love Klaus so much so seeing more of him is a good thing. It starts with him being kicked out of the academy and it seems he’s more in control of his powers than I expected. (Or maybe it’s just because show Klaus seems not to be) I’m curious to see how it goes.
Wednesday also has mail, the new Who magazine which isn’t too exciting. Though the new comic is pretty good and time Lord victorious does sound interesting.
October is approaching which means Uni starting, Star Wars squadrons, Discovery, The Mandalorian, my loves and my birthday. I’m honestly not sure what to get them. I’ve never been sure what to get people unless they say so... I’m gonna order things from there to go direct to them as that’s easier than me sending them things from here. I’m not gonna even try kinktober this time cause my writing ability is still non-existent.
Speaking of the Mandalorian there was a trailer for it this week at last and ahhh the child is so adorable! I am excite for it
I suspect there was something else that I meant to mention, but as I’m typing this it’s completely gone out of my head which is annoying.
I’m gonna be watching Pacific Rim uprising tonight and then I Tonya. I’ve watched neither before but Uprising has John Boyega and Tonya is meant to be good.

Date: 2020-09-19 02:38 pm (UTC)That's interesting about Klaus. I wonder if he lost control of his powers a little as he grew and fell into addictive behaviours? Or maybe like so often happens, the tv show and source material being different a little.
Hope you have fun with the Sims, I was frustrated with the tutorial too, but I guess it always helps to know what you're doing.

Yeah, especially since I’ve not played it on the console before. I might get expansions once I’m used to it (a site called cdkeys has them for good prices, especially random bundles)
