The past few days have been pretty lazy, mostly due to this damn heat. It really is so annoying, especially when walking the pup or trying to sleep. I’ve had a few nights where I’ve been restless, or mornings when I woke early and just... blah.

I’ve ended up watching some of the newer treehouse of horror eps on Disney+, cause there’s at least 5 Simpsons series on there I’ve not seen yet (so I might watch them too) but I like he treehouse eps cause they’re shorts and are, mostly, fun. (Although as is the way with anthologies, some can be be a bit bleh.)

Yesterday I had to pick up some stuff from Home Bargains and just... ugh. It was so busy and people weren’t distancing (and most weren’t wearing masks) so I was so glad to be out of there. The whole thing just made me feel so antsy.

By contrast while walking the pup yesterday and today there was no one around. (Though we did see a few lil squirrels and some ducklings!)

I ended up getting the latest Elder Scrolls Online expansion from the Quakecon sale. The sale discounted is by £10 and I had £10 in Xbox reward credits so it only cost me £11. I just got the basic version of Greymoor, on the off chance I do get the physical collectors edition on discount like the others. I might start it tonight, since I finished Sunhold last night and did the prologue for it. It helps that I watched a voice actor stream and one of the new characters was a Pete Wentz style vampire (Their words not mine).

I’ve also randomly played through Super Mario 3 again, though I’m not sure what triggered it. Did anyone else just... horde the special items or was it just me?

You can tell TUA is active again because I’m getting kudos emails daily, yay!

I’m still waiting on the SFX magazine I ordered which is annoying, but the Sobble I got with the Pokemon game pass came, as has the Poe Dameron novel which I’ll start after the Padme one (which I need to read more).

The Librarians started yesterday and it does seem pretty fun so far. It’s strange seeing so many familiar faces in new roles (there were people from Angel, 3rd Rock From The a Sun and Lucifer in the first ep alone) and it definitely gave me Warehouse 13 style vibes.

I started the Magnus Archives season 5 this morning and it was a little unexpected start. (Although they definitely could’ve used that Gertrude message sooner) But hopefully I can get synced up in a week or so.

The world continues to be going crazy. There’s been a volcanic eruption as well as a big fire in Birmingham and just... ugh. There’s meant to be thunderstorms so hopefully that’ll cool things down.

Shopping is due in an hour and then I’ll just snuggle a bit.

So much hot. Got up at 5.30 this morning (having slept bugger all last night) to get the boys exercised before the foulness descended, and the thermometre was already over 20 by 8am. Seriously, world, why?

Started S2 of Umbrella Academy this week though, so am at least making progress on my TV :D

Oh, I've been thinking of getting ESO as well during this sale, but I just haven't had the motivation to play games so it's felt like a bit of an unnecessary expense ^^;;

Oh it’s really good! I’ve played so very much of it. So many of the quests are just so absorbing, especially when it’s one of the more unusual ones. I can relate to the lack of motivation though. I usually play at night and sometimes I just get too drained to want to play which is annoying.

I'm glad to hear that! I am definitely keeping it on my wishlist, then, although I'm glad I've held off on it for now, since my finances are looking a bit tight this month!

I really like The Librarians, it's a fun series and the movies are okay too. I also enjoy how often they get crossed with Leverage, Eliott/Jacob as a twin or the same character under different names is an enjoyable twist.

What isn't fun is the weather. I was so glad to wake up this morning to cooler air, though like yesterday it may heat up later. I really feel for everyone who has been getting temps in the 30s, at least it was only mid-twenties here, and that was bad enough when you had to actually do stuff outside.
