Prompt 6: Indigo
Indigo is a rich color that is associated with a variety of things including: magic, experience, truth, dignity, virtue, dreams, profanity, inferiority, imagination, luxury, wisdom, spirit, destiny, elegance, intuition.
The world is full of magic things,
patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper —W.B. Yeats
What magic have you experienced in your life? Have you come to appreciate it differently as you grow older? What experiences have brought you wisdom?
—
I’ll be honest, nothing immediately came to mind for indigo. It’s always been the odd one out of the rainbow song colours I feel. All the others are distinct, whereas indigo is just... dark blue to me.
So instead of talking about the colour itself I’ll talk about the side about magic.
I think everyone at some point has had an interest in magic, be it from a book or film or show. Stuff like Merlin, Harry Potter, the worst witch are just a few things I remember watching. I’d like to believe that there is real magic in the world, but the world right now is kinda a mess.
I’ve ended a poly relationship with two witches, so I’m gonna try and learn something about that. (Milo is setting up a witches school discord so I hope that will, help). I’m not sure on my path or anything, but I guess that’s something I’ll find out as we go.
***
Last night I was going to watch the next Umbrella Academy But instead I ended up shutting down which was... annoying. Depression is a bitch.
Mum also fell yesterday, while we were out with the pup. She was ok, managing to brace herself, but it still shook her up. She hasn’t had a sudden fall in awhile which is good but it just highlights why I don’t want her in the garden when I’m upstairs or not around.
I’ve downloaded a few of the summer game fest game demos from the Xbox, so I’m gonna try and go on them. And ooblets, since I got it Monday,

Date: 2020-07-23 04:50 pm (UTC)When I most need the support of friends, I am most prone to retreating into my cave.
And there is no nuance. Everything is "the worst".

Date: 2020-07-24 03:04 pm (UTC)Ugh, falls. I worry about that more and more as my parents get older, and they don't live close by. Glad your mom is okay!
