Snowflake challenge 2025 - 7

In your own space, create a list of at least three things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a wishlist of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wishlist if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
So I meant to do this yesterday when I saw this but I was both tired and couldn’t think of things. You know like how if someone says ‘what would you like?’ And then your mind is like ‘file not found’? Yeah that’s how my mind was yesterday when I first saw this.
So I’ve had a ponder to see if anything comes to mind and… not much has come to mind, which is really annoying. I’m sure things will actually come to mind at some point when I can’t actually do anything with them (like when walking the pup or about to sleep) but here are the few things that come to mind.
So over the past year I’ve got back into J-Horror (I’ve watched the Ring and Ju-On boxsets, as well as the J-Horror Rising boxset arrow did) so I wanna know if anyone has any film recs. Especially if they’re on Disney+, Amazon, Netflix or Shudder (all uk). Uzumaki on shudder (the film not the show) is already on my to watch list and probably would’ve been sooner if I’d not been distracted/health issues.
Also any horror films on those platforms that are water based or have water creatures in them.
There’s a buy 1 get 2 free indie game sale on Xbox and I’m wondering if anyone has recs (alas there’s no link sto an online list, but there’s a post on it here). I’m thinking of doing it Monday (when my money goes in) and getting sone from under £22 but it’s hard to know if anything is good you know? (And yeah adding to the backlog is probably bad but shhh I love bargains). Cultist simulator is the first one that caught my eye when I had a quick look through earlier.
(Scrolling through the list did remind me I have to try For The Warp cause I picked it up on sale a lil while back and wanna try it)
Since I’m gonna be reorganising my icons soon (I likely would have done this morning but boiler issues) I could ask for some (or pics I could use), but again I can’t think of anything I’d want even though I’m sure there is
Lastly (well not really but shush) there’s the just general wish that everyone should be nicer and kind to each other, though I’m sure snowflake people are already nice anyway.
I do have a fic wants post (last updated in August but still mostly accurate) which is here though I don’t expect anyone to do anything from it.
I might add stuff in if I have any extra thoughts.
Edit: Oh! One thought I had is I’d like to see pics of peoples pets! Because fur friends are good

Date: 2025-01-15 04:05 pm (UTC)Depending on what kind of horror you like I could recommend Happiness (zombies), Hellbound, Squid Game, Sweet Homne, all of Us are Dead (zombies again), Gyeongseong Creature was very good. The Silent Sea was underwater horror.
