I was between having it like the statue or like this and thought this was the better version to use (as hot as caked up mothman is). Yeah! I knew I had to have them flying and the webbing was just a thought I had👀
Yeah! I did consider using he but thought this felt more appropriate and also helped to differentiate between it and Owen.
Aww thank! Sometimes I just like getting going with the stuff but I knew this needed all the buildup and such. Owen’s so cute! I love him so many and him being a cryptid hunter is so💜 and yeah I needed names so they fit just right!

I wasn’t sure how it was gonna end when I started, but then I just had the image of him hanging encased in webbing come to me and I was all ‘yes this is perfect!’ Yeah I had a few thoughts in mind but I couldn’t really set on an actual one so figured leaving him like that, hanging and scared was the best way to go. And yeah that is a thing that actually happens!
Anyway the ideas that I had: *Owen wakes up in the forest (or warehouse), he’s naked and alone, with no real idea of what happened *Owen is hanging and has been for x amount of time, the eggs hatch inside of him, and they break out of the cocoon, leaving him inside of it to an uncertain fate *Owen is hanging and the eggs hatch inside of him, only the larvae are hungry. They devour him from the inside out while he’s still alive and screaming *The eggs aren’t eggs at all. While in cocoon what the mothman filled him with starts to take hold and it changes him. Owen eventually breaks out of the cocoon but he’s not Owen anymore, he’s been transformed into a mothman
