shadowhiveThis morning I woke up to a surprise, that the new Weathers album was up on Spotify. For some reason we aren’t getting it here till the end of the month which is odd but I was able to give it a listen. I think it’s strange that one of the songs is from the EP… that’s not on Spotify…. Yet it’s not the one that’s the title of the album. It’s very strange. I’ve only given it one listen to I’m not sure on my thoughts, though Drama Queen is stuck in my head (and my fav lyric from it is the source of the subject line)
I’m still annoyed that my newer podthing is still awol. I’m debating having another look tonight or to just take the old one up and put Weathers on it before bed (because I’m fairly sure they’re not on there). I really wish I knew where the same thing went.
Before I came down this morning I decided to refresh the Las Nevadas package tracking, not expecting an update considering Royal Mail thought it was awol yesterday. Turns out it’s actually here at the local sorting office. The bad news though is that there’s a huge £36 customs fee which pisses me off. That’s more than the shipping. It’s more than the discount I got for everything in the order. It’s so infuriating! I’ve not paid it yet, I’ll wait until I’m back tomorrow but UGH.
On the plus side I had a reply from the Who magazine yesterday and they’re sending a replacement of the damaged one, so that’s good.
I’ve been drained again today which is annoying. I think it might in part be due to the weather which is… odd. It feels like it’s gonna rain but it also is warm when we go out and is just generally bleh. Though we did see the ducklings again, who were closer this time! We also saw one of the moorhen babies, though it was too close to the reeds to take pics.
I had hoped to watch more Star Wars Visions of young Jedi adventures but my focus was too off so I decided not to. I might watch some Sunday or Monday.
It’s amusing hearing about the election results coming in and how the tories have had major losses (our results aren’t up yet). Hopefully this is a good sign that things will change come next election…. But we’ll see I guess.
Tomorrow is the trip to Birmingham where we’re gonna be going to see Guardians Of Galaxy Vol 3 and go to Free Comic Book Day. I also have a short list of things I’m gonna look for, though who knows if I’ll find any. Chances are I’ll pick up something in the sales too but we’ll see. I just hope I’m not too drained and it’s not like, insanely busy. Because ugh, people. But at least we’ll be avoiding coronation stuff.
Now though it’s almost time for the next Voyager ep of the run on tv, which hit series 4 last night so now we have Seven Of Nine! It’s so strange seeing her full borgified after seeing her in Picard. I think tonight is Kes’ last ep as a main cast member which is a shame because she was sweet.
After that I dunno, there’s no real plans for the night so I guess we’ll see.

I liked Kes a lot. She was always a balance to the more, I guess, angry and forthright, members of the crew.
