I have a good feeling about this!

shadowhiveSo from this post, film thoughts are gonna be open to everyone (and likely linked to on fb and twitter). I'm gonna make a tag for and tag in The Last Jedi and Infinity War ones. Next one should be for Deadpool 2 (if I manage to see it) or Jurrassic World Fallen Kingdom).
Most of this is being typed as I'm on the bus home.
We saw Solo in Walsall today which meant wandering around the shops before and after. I've still not seen Solo figures, just the lego and Funkos. I did get the brickheadz Chewie and Funko Lando (and the DJ polybag and resistance pod from tesco). Mum, kindly, got me the huge Fungo Porg which looks awesome, though I have to settle the money later.
Anyway, Solo thoughts under the cut.
It was weird seeing a Star Wars film not at midnight... And with all the ads before it. There weren't many trailers though. I only recall Jurassic World and no others which was odd. Anyway, spoilers are ahoy.
It was awesome to, finally, see Corellia onscreen. I'm not sure what I expected of it, but it was cool to see it.
I ended up mostly liking Beckett. I too, wanna retire on Glee Anselm like Beckett (cause Nautolans). I wanna know about him and Aurra. (I did half expect Enfys to end up being Aurra after that).
I wish Rio and Val had lived. I thought they were interesting characters and Rio was funny. I hope they get a book/comic appearance sometime.
Lando! I really hope there is a Lando film coming up cause he wasn't in it near enough, though poor L3. I loved the reference to Oseon. I wonder if that's where the last shots of the film was. Speaking of L3 I loved her rebellion on Kessel and how heartbroken Lando was over her. :( Lando's cape closet! Wow that man has style.
I think Alden made a pretty good Han. I certainly enjoyed his portrayal of him. It's tough to follow on from someone else, but I think he did a great job. If there is another Solo film I'm sure it would be awesome too and I actually hope there is.
Chewie! Aww I love Chewie, I juse wanna hug him.
Qi'Ra, well I could sense the end with her coming. I knew the second Han entered that turbolift that she wasn't going to follow. I didn't see Maul coming though, fuck! I guess he kept up the Shadow Collective from the Clone Wars for awhile. I wonder what happened between then and his Rebels appearance? I guess we need to wait for a book/comic/film to find out.
Is that Two Tubes with Enfys? Or just another of his species? I guess we'll find out from the guide.
In short though, I enjoyed it. I have so many questions, some which will be answered by the guide I'm sure, others by future stuff.
