Sep. 7th, 2022 09:19 pmSo today is the next of the daily posts.
Last night I ended up going back on Immortals Fenyx Rising. I got it ages ago, played for awhile and then it kinda fell by the wayside. However, seeing Xbox uk play it on stream a few days ago made me wanna go back on it so I did, first on the weekend (finishing Ares’ quests to restore him) and then last night, where I did all of Hephaestus’ restoration quests (a shame cause I liked his automaton form).
For anyone that doesn’t know what it is, it’s based on Greek mythology and you have to restore four of the Greek gods who have been cursed by Thython. There’s Aphrodite, Area, Hephaestus and someone else (who I haven’t encountered yet). Gameplay wise it’s kinda like Breath Of The Wild and it’s very pretty (plus there’s a commentary from Zeus and Prometheus which is usually funny but last nights was heartbreaking). I might go back to it in a few days, I don’t see myself going back on tonight.
Also I was on Fortnite again today, to do some of the new fire based quests which are pretty cool. They also currently have Rainbow Royale, a celebration of Fortnite’s LGBT+ community with few rainbow themed items, which I think is pretty cool. And I like the new song. The current season is almost over, and I’ve managed to get pretty much everything. I only have one skin from the bonus battle pass to get, which I’ll likely get tomorrow.
Before Fenyx I did manage to fic a little last night, which has been awhile. I’m hoping to get it finished soonish (tm).
As I mentioned in a previous post, mum was thinking of us going to Birmingham when her money goes in next week. The original idea was the sea life center (but it turned out to be too much) and a walking tour (which we considered) but today I had an email from the museum. They’re doing an Open Day thing next Saturday, at the museum collections centre (where they store things that aren’t being exhibited) and it sounds so interesting that’s the thing we’re gonna do. We should still be able to go to the main museum and see the bull and maybe one of the other heritage things. But yeah (though it is slightly annoying it’s on a Saturday cause that’ll mean Birmingham is busier but… ugh).
Just before I made this post, Netflix tweeted saying Morbius is on there. I’m curious if it’s on the uk one, if so it’ll be a thing to add to spooky season’s watchlist.
I dunno what I’m gonna do tonight, maybe watch Lower Decks and go on Dreamlight Valley to see what it’s like.
