shadowhiveSo it’s my birthday today. I had quite a few messages on twitter which surprised me, which was nice. Plus I had three fics on the day/night, so thanks fadefur, carrythefire and sourgreen
Today hasn’t been too exciting really. I got some Lego, Fawkes from Potter, which is pretty though two pieces for the head are awol (I’ve ordered replacement parts though). And I watched Moana while doing it. I was intending to watch one of the Guardians Of The Galaxy films with the game coming but ended up changing my mind.
I had to pop in to put money on the gas card when we walked the pup earlier so I got the new radio times with Professor Cox on which I’ll look at soon. He has a new series next week, which I’m excite about. I wonder if there’s a book for this one coming.
There’s been a few discount codes in my email, but I’m not sure I’ll use them. Emp has one for £10 off but you’ve gotta spend £60. If my money comes I might get something but as it is? There’s also a rock sound one for £5 which I might use but I’m not sure on what yet.
Animal Crossing was cute cause I had a party at Vesta’s and Ankha gave me a birthday table which was orange which was festive.
Yesterday I also ended up finishing the Bone Gate which made me Emo. It means I can start the horro short stories book I got a few weeks back, Nightmare Yearnings, which sounded interesting.
There has been two annoyances though. Yesterday TalkTalk sent an engineer, completely surprise in the morning. He seemed to think the issue was down to the phone, I’m not sure how, so I unplugged it and ordered a replacement (just a cheap one) to see if that would solve things and…. It seems not. Which is annoying.
Also this morning was a letter from the uni which I thought meant student finance had been sorted but, nup. I’d told them things were with student finance but the letter seemed to be hassling me and just.l. Ugh. I’ll message them in the morning because I don’t want annoying stress.
Less major but still annoying, the times for the cinema are up and.. no Dune. I’m not sure if it’ll get it late or not at all which is a shame.
I’m gonna snug now and wait for Dominos.
I might watch the second part of Elvira’s special tonight, cause I watched the first on Monday and it was pretty fun.
