There are so many interesting pairings you can do with groups; I can never stick to just one (although depending on what I'm writing, I often have a preference for who should be in the pairing).
*laughs* It was ridiculous, and subsequently a lot of other people wrote it as well, but at the time, it was the only reason I signed up for the Big Bang - to make me finish it. And there was very much a "....um, really not sure how this is gonna go down with fandom" between me and my beta, because Jared was a manipulative, nasty bastard in it, and we really weren't sure what the reaction was gonna be. Shouldn't have been; predictably, a certain subset loved it, a LOT.
I fucking love space pirates. Because it's pirates, but IN SPACE! There's a DC author I found who seems to love it as well, and has really kicked off my hankering for more of it. Honestly, my love for space pirates is where that bloody Ray/Mikey space 'verse comes from (although they're more smugglers than pirates). Mafic fic, of course, hits all my danger kink and power dynamic buttons hard, so it's one of those links I'll always click on to see what's there. I should write more of it, really (I do, to be fair, have an idea brewing linked to one of those dialogue prompts...)
