(no subject)

So after the last post I didn’t do too much. One thing I did do was though was start Hi-Fi Rush and it’s just as fun and funny and bright as I was expecting it to be. I love Chai in it already, he’s so cute and dumb and funny. And 808 is such a cute robo kitty. And I love all the robots too. I didn’t do too much though, just the first level to it, but tie do clear so much love has been put to it.

(I had hoped to do more to it last night but alas, I went too tired and drained again ugh)

One of the few mcr related accounts I still follow on twitter is an hourly Ray Toro one and for some reason when I saw it on my timeline it gave me a craving for Toro content. The thing is though I didn’t feel like going to find anymore in part because this was just before I started Hi-Fi Rush but also because ao3 (and mcr fandom in general) is kinda… bad at Ray fic. You do a search for Ray on ao3 and the fics that come up have him as a minor character or a side pairing. There’s not many where he gets live

(There’s also that mcr fandom is, in general, terrible)

So I just kinda screamed into the void about suddenly wanting Ray porn, not expecting anything and the. fadefur popped into existence like some sort of dealer. I wake this morning to find that they had finished a fic already (indeed they must’ve posted it minutes after I slept last night so I only just missed it getting dropped). Anyway it’s here if anyone wants to read some Toro porntimes

I digress though. YesterdayI had hoped to finish fic, and I did write some just not enough to finish it, but instead I didn’t have the focus. I watched Poirot instead in the afternoon (two stories, I managed to recall one and had a slight suspicion on the other) which were entertaining enough.

Then I watched one of the Who ray special features, Looking For David, which was so sad, how he went from being so well regarded to practically obscurity is so sad. These things always end up giving me such feels. There was a convention thing too which I was gonna watch later in the night but… drained.

I also did a little on Dreamlight Valley, which was enough to sort the blizzard and fix Olaf. I also stumbled on the doorknob which is the thing that sets of Mirabel’s quest (though I didn’t start it).

After watching a few other things I came up to bed, listened to a Hyacinth Disaster (I’m now at the midpoint) before going to sleep

There’s not many plans for the coming week, we’re kinda at the point where there’s not much on tv other than the weekday stuff. (Indeed the only day with stuff to watch specific to that day is Friday which has Father Brown, Beyond Paradise, Death In Paradise and Picard and even then one of those is finishing). I do wanna get this fic finished and I also wanna do more The Quarry (I hope to finish it this week but we’ll see) and then there’s continuing the Who Ray run with The Chase.

The main thing this week is, of course, Sunday and going into Birmingham. I don’t think I’ve actually been there on a Sunday in… forever (I think the last time was the panic gig? Which was what made me avoid Sundays because of getting stuck). Hopefully we won’t get stuck this time cause the signing is 2:30 so we should be back before 5. Should being the operative word.

Now though time to walk the pup, then see what the Xbox uk stream schedule will be and no doubt get back to magic stuff.
