Aug. 22nd, 2022 10:34 amSo Saturday, as expected, I ended up going to town. Which was ugh, cause the bus was the fullest I’ve ever seen (but only like two other people had masks on) and by the end of it I was sweating cause it decided to go warm again, ugh.
On the plus side I managed to get two magazines from Smiths I hoped to get, the Lego minecraft one and the new SFX with Andor (which I’m saving for my trip Friday). Oddly they didn’t have the new WHO magazine special, or even the regular one.
I did pop in McDonald’s to get the Pokémon happy meal which was pretty good (and you get four Pokémon cards which is nice) and the halloumi fries were just… Unff. I hope that there’s a McDonald’s somewhere Friday to have more but don’t expect there to be.
I did see one of the new Lego minecraft sets which looks pretty cool (especially cause of the disc) but I don’t get the pricing. The new set is £25 but right next to it was one of the other sets that came out earlier this year, the ice fortress. The latter was the same size of box… but it’s retail is £45 which seems… insane.
Because of going to town, and mum’s friend coming, we didn’t watch LOTR. I had considered it for Sunday, but didn’t feel up to it. So I dunno when I’ll watch that. I guess we’ll see.
Saturday night was MCC. I ended up watching Ranboo’s pov again but I dunno if it was just me but it felt it went… fast? I dunno. They did pretty well, mostly cause Purpled was carrying them and had plans.
Yesterday wasn’t too exciting. I mostly just watched random stuff and did fortnite (i got all the current event stuff soo!).
The night proved annoying. I was watching Foolish’s stream (which was awesome cause there was Quackity, then Sapnap, Karl and Corpse) but as I was watching twitter decided to be a bitch. Twitter can’t seem to do anything about transphobes but somehow caught the use of the word ‘slutty’ on a private account. And then locked two others needing a mobile to send texts to… which I don’t have. I just… despair at twitter sometimes. My private got sorted out pretty quick but the other two? I dunno
This wasn’t helped by me going on two point campus last night and doing absolutely terribly on it (I was losing money constantly and couldn’t figure out how to make more). It’s annoying that the difficulty spiked so much because it’s fun otherwise.
Annoyingly I woke up feeling woozy again and I’m hoping it goes away. Especially since mum wants to see about the washer again. (Though who knows with her, she’s changed her mind I dunno how many times.)
My mood hasn’t been improved by the BB-8 money pouch I use breaking (the zipper has been annoying for awhile but now has decided to just disconnect completely) which is ugh. I’m hoping there’s something similar Friday (either pokemon, Zelda or Elder Scrolls).
I’m hoping before Friday to get a few things done but… we’ll see. I wanna get uni sorted as well as to fic more, but we’ll see.
