So Song Saturday is on a Friday again but this time it’s more duets logistics, since I’ll be out tomorrow. But this time we’re getting two things!
First is Muffin by Badboyhalo, which I’ve had in my head since I first heard/saw it a few days ago. The video is very bright and colourful and minecraft based, with a load of people’s models in it (I’ve no idea who most of them are alas). But it’s super fun and bright and cute.
The most ridiculous thing of the whole thing is that Dream would trash George’s heart (if anything it’d be the other way round) but someone pointed out that they’re together at the end so 🖤
And speaking of George, here he is in Lovejoy’s Taunt video. I honestly have no idea how he was managing to spent the whole time just sat there with his arms folded while everything is going on around him. Plus Wilbur is cute as the band’s singer.

It turned out the net going down Wednesday morning was due to ‘planned maintenance’… which they didn’t bother to tell anyone. The whole thing was stressful though and just, ugh.
Yesterday I managed to do some uni stuff, but also the Animal Crossing went live a full day early (annoyingly just a few minutes after I went to sleep Wednesday night). So I spent awhile yesterday and today doing stuff on it. Brewster is moving in, with the cafe opening tomorrow. I’ve got recipes (and thanks to a discord have got all the ingredients growing). And since they finally improved the storage I’ve been clearing my island which is looking a bit better.
Today the new amiibo cards finally went up on Nintendo… and sold out in under 6 minutes so I missed out at first, but thankfully they got added again just a few hours later so I have four packs coming. Huzzah!
I listened to the new Bullet album while trying to do uni stuff this morning (which went harder cause I had trouble settling and when I woke Leia and Naryu were both on me) and, yeah, it’s not the best, there’s only a few songs I like and most of the singles are the weakest (though I like parasites intro on the album). I wasn’t able to order the album for the signing when I checked the other night and I won’t be sad if, when I go, wristbands are gone. But if they are, I may as well since I’m there.
Naryu was able to go see the horses and she was happy cause two were by the fence and another one came other. There were also a few young ones around being flat out on floor which was cute.
Tomorrow is the streetpass meet and it’ll be my first one in ages. I’m not intending to do too much in Birmingham (I had considered seeing Dune but I think it’d be too much, and it’s been added to the local cinema). The meet is technically for Mario Party but I suspect there’ll be a lot of animal crossing stuff going on.
I’m gonna snug now and maybe fic a bit, but I’ll likely have an early sleep.
