Another trip around the sun
Oct. 20th, 2020 09:56 pmThe weekend has been largely uneventful. I was tired at night so didn’t do too much other than watch Maxx’s streams. (Although I did win a Monster Prom code on twitter) In fact it took until yesterday night to watch Discovery at last.
Setting it in the distant future is an interesting call and we’ll see how it pans out. I’m guessing the Burn is gonna be the season mystery though it’s kinda sad. Although Grudge the best. How can you not love a big fluffy kitty.
Speaking of cats we saw one today while walking the pup. Usually when a cat sees Naryu they turn tail hand run, but this one actually came towards us and got close enough for me to stroke (which is unheard of while with the pup). They looked like Midna too so we’re so cute.
But I digress. Today was my birthday and it’s been pretty uneventful. (It’s always sad that there’s no fics for it anymore, as well as It just being me and mum now) I got the recent Mario game so I played Mario 64 late this afternoon/tonight. We had dominos and cake which was nice.
Food shop came but alas the Lego I ordered was substituted so I had to send it back. The lack of dog food meant I had to pop to the co-op and I got a pumpkin (the last) and Lego Star Wars magazine.
Perhaps the highlight of the day was going on Animal Crossing and getting all the sweet birthday messages and gifts from the villagers. One of them, Walt, threw me a birthday party with a piñata and KK was there to perform KK Birthday. So that was sweet.
So now I’m snuggled and watch the Great Muppet Caper on Disney+. I might watch something else later, maybe something spooky but we’ll see. Tomorrow I might pop to home bargains but we’ll see (and we’re getting a washer from someone).
