Well Wednesday night turned out to be annoying. Not long after six twitter decided to screw up. It wouldn’t let me open the app without pulling up a screen saying I needed to put in a mobile for a code. I tried contacting them to get it sorted but it was clear the emails I got back were automated.
It turned out there was something wrong with twitter, because they’d suspended a lot of accounts by mistake. They did restore them in the end, but managed to fuck up people’s followers too (eventually sorting them out overnight). What a fuck up.
Naturally the whole thing was frustrating and exhausting and just... ugh.
On Wednesday night was also The Last Of The Summer Wine ep where Compo died (which is doubly sad because it was due to the actor dying) so it was full of feels.
Thursday was a bit better. I woke up and had cuddles from Leia, which is strange because she never gives morning cuddles (despite me telling her she can). I managed to sort the phone call which wasn’t as annoying as I expected.
I started Sims 4 Batuu yesterday. The location looks very pretty and I love the look of some of the items, though I’ve not bought any yet (I’m gonna try and get a droid when I’m on it next). I decided to do the First Order missions first, despite disliking the order in general (It’s because the rewards look nice). There is an odd thing where the aspiration isn’t detecting finished missions which is odd. Hopefully that’ll change when I start the resistance side. As for the missions, some seem a bit uninteresting, but I like the patrol ones.
This morning was strange, because I had an email from amazon saying I had a delivery. Nothing was due to come, so when I looked I found out they’d finally sent me the Black Series Mandalorian. I’d preordered it months ago and it was meant to come at the start of last month but got delayed for some reason (most likely cause he’s a popular character). The new boxes look pretty.
It’s been cold and windy today, so Naryu has been in her jacket which has a skull on it. After lunch I ended up reading some of my book. It’s getting more interesting now I think. The book’s Queen’s Peril and is about Padme just before (and during) Episode I, so far it’s mostly been about introducing her to the handmaidens but now it’s starting to get going. It’s been surprising when there’s been parts that focus on other people. So far there’s been parts with Palpatine, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Valorum, Maul and Anakin. I wonder if there’ll be more as it goes on.
There’s also been, finally, a trailer for the new Animal Crossing update. It goes live next week and includes all the Halloween stuff! There’s pumpkins! And new outfits! Hopefully it comes with house uogrades too but I’m not sure. I’ll need to find space for a pumpkin patch.
I dunno what the plan is tonight after watching stuff. I might go on Spiritfarer since I haven’t this week and I definitely need to do ESO for the event (it’s good to get world bosses dealt with and I’m trying out the Antiquarian stuff). I might try and write soon too but it depends,
Tomorrow I wanna watch stuff, a film on Disney+ (dunno what yet) and maybe that new Ebola Holmes film on Netflix since it looks fun.
Monday mum’s friend is supposed to come. I suspect as a result I’ll be heading to town to put money in the bank (cause she usually wants something ordered) and if so I’ll pop in the works to look for a book and B and M for Halloween stuff.
