Sep. 21st, 2020 08:47 pmThe weekend has ended up being a mix of tiring and film watching. I ended up watching three films over the two days. Pacific Rim Uprising, I Tonya and The Da Vinci Code,
It had been awhile since I watched the first Pacific Rim, which I caught when it was on tv. The main draw for me watching the sequel was that it had John Boyega in it. It was good to see him in a main role again and it really got to show what he can do when given material to work with. Plus he looked damn good. I had a sense of what was gonna happen, but there still were some surprises to it. I wonder if there’ll be a follow up.
I Tonya was on BBC2 at the same time, so I watched it on IPlayer. I wasn’t sure what I expected from it, I think one of the trailers made it seem more humorous than it turned out to be. By the end I actually felt pretty sad for Tonya, she didn’t deserve that sentence.
I’d not watched the Da Vinci Code in years, but I got the extended blu ray from Poundland awhile back. So with nothing on tv due to sportsball I decided we may as well watch it. The extended stuff is a few scenes here and there, most of which I recognised despite not seeing it for so long. It is a pretty engaging story and I can fully believe the church having a secret society that would kill for such a thing.
ESO had a stream Saturday for the new expansion and it looks pretty good. There’s a prologue for it out now but I wanna finish the story questline of Greymoor before that. I’ll probably do more this week, especially with the event that’s starting Wednesday,
After Da Vinci I went on Spiritfarer and ended up losing myself to it again. It was sad cause I lost two more spirits (Atul who just vanished and Giovanni who wanted to cross over). Because of that I can access the final areas of the map. I now have all but one of the spirits aboard the ship so I’m pretty close to the end which is... kinda sad. It’s definitely my indie game of the year.
Today I went down the road to pick up meds, which was tiring because it was so warm. We got guinea pig food for Padme and a few things from sainsburys. The rest of the day was also tiring because I couldn’t settle. Mum wanted to walk Naryu a little, but had to go pick something up first. It was meant to take a few minutes so I sat there ready to go but took an hour. I dozed as soon as we got back.
Tonight I might go on Spiritfarer if I’m not too tired. My lids feel heavy though so I dunno.
Since it’s Monday it’s worth looking at the list I was gonna work on. I’ve ended up doing most of them, other than going on Fallen Order (and writing was only a few sentences). So yay?
