The world is on fire
May. 31st, 2020 01:01 pm2020 feels like one of those years were every week or so the universe just goes ‘how can we make this year worse for humans’. I hope everyone that’s in America is staying safe. I’m scared of America at the best of times and... well, this is far from that, (But then ever since the moron came into power it’s felt like it’s gone down hill.)
As a country at least we’re doing better though things are absurd. The lockdown is being lessened far too soon, there’s still not things that need to be in place and they’re wanting the schools open again. It makes me glad I don’t have a kid cause there’s no way in hell I’d send them back.
Anyway.
Yesterday I ended up watching a few things. The Tigger Movie on Disney+ (cause my bf watched it a few days ago) and Godzilla (cause it was on 5). The Tigger Movie was better I think, probably cause it made me smile (and I love Eeyore).
The pumpkin growing kit also included a craft kit. From the wording on the box I’d assumed it was stuff to do with a Grown pumpkin but no. Instead it was to sew a lil pumpkin. So I did that while Godzilla was on. It’s one, though it looks more orange like than a pumpkin and the top won’t stay on.... but then I’ve not sewn before so... I’ll post a pic when I do a photo post.
The Nintendo Birmingham group did a Pokemon tournament last night so I had a go. It was a late decision so I just used the team I had and... I didn’t do well. But the people I lost to came 2nd and 3rd so...
Also last night was a Palaye stream which felt... odd. It felt in some ways a little more subdued, at least until the cooking with Sebastian thing started (which was a bit crazy and made me wonder how he cooks with his brothers around) but Emerson was cute strumming on his guitar. But the stream ended suddenly which was apparently due to a jammer?
It was odd on the way back from the walk. We went the reverse of the usual way because we went to the cemetery (it’s been the anniversary of my grandad’s death which doesn’t feel as long as it is) and on the way back we saw a load of people in the field. There had to be about 100 people and they weren’t social distancing at all. It was a bit wtf? Especially cause there’s never been that many people there like that before.
Today I’m gonna watch the book of life on 4+1 and catch up on Batwoman/Killing Eve. (Though I’m not sure when causa timing.)
Tomorrow is the food shop, the start of Wedding season on AC and the June something.
