Oct. 31st, 2019 10:19 amI’ve not done my standard Who post even though I finished Trial on Monday. This post isn’t gonna be one either so maybe I’ll do it after watching the Who special features.
Monday night there was a new trailer for the Mandalorian and it does look so good. It’s got Super battle droids and stormtroopers and just has a whore vibe of a lot of the films as well. I’d be more excited though if Disney+ had a uk date. It’s less than two weeks till it’s US release but there’s still no confirmation on the worldwide one which is so frustrating.
On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings I worked on my first uni assessment for the course. It’s not due till the week I come back, but I figure it would be best to get it done beforehand, hence me trying to be ahead with everything. I think I’ve done ok and it’s one thing off my mind now. However doing it seemed to drain me as I got really tired in the afternoons.
I’ve had two vivid dreams which was... odd. The first was about next week. Instead of meeting Heather at the airport (like I want to) I’d gone to the hotel... but she didn’t show up. I guess this one is down to my worry that if I don’t meet her she’ll get lost and end up... who knows where. The second one was different entirely. My friend who had fucked off made contact again and we started talking. I think this one was triggered by the recent Funeral For A Friend gigs which I’m sure she’s gone to. (And I’ve often wondered if they’d trigger an attempt to reconnect.) Both felt so real that I felt that they were actually happening and when I woke I was surprised they weren’t, which is odd for me.
On Tuesday we walked Naryu down by the canal and on the way back we past the fields with horses. Now Naryu looks horses and she always pulls to the fence to have a look at them (sometimes even trying to get under them!) and so I sometimes pick her up so she can see them better. Well when I did this time some of them decided to come over and take a look. Three of them came to the fence and gave us a sniff and I’m sure Naryu loved it, because when we had to go she kept pulling to go back. I wish I’d had my pad to take a pic.
Also on Tuesday was bake off and I’m glad David won. I’d hoped he would and so I was glad that he did. Unrelated, but it’s sad that Will is now off Strictly due to his injury. I was so rooting for him and it’s a shame.
Writing wise has been odd. I’d hoped to bash a few short things out but cause I’ve been so drained my brain is like, nope. Especially yesterday when I ended up going to sleep instead of gaming last night which was annoying. I’d hoped to go through kinktober in order but it seems the last few won’t be, ugh. I’ve not even looked at the spook-me fic either which, ugh. If I’d not had the issues with the pad lead and the stresses with PayPal and everything I might have gotten it done already but... nope. I’m hoping to get them done before I go.
It’s Halloween today which means a few things. Traditionally I watch two films, Nightmare Before Christmas and Trick R Treat though I’m gonna delay Nightmare a day or two. I’m gonna watch Trick R Treat tonight after Most Haunted Live on youtube. I’m gonna sort the pumpkin this afternoon and mum’s gonna sort pumpkin soup so yay! I dunno what has happened to my vampire outfit that I hoped to wear. I’d found it and then mum moved but doesn’t seem to know where.
Also it’s my other love’s birthday so I’m gonna try and do something for him soon.
