She'll be superb

So I've had to order a new charger lead for my pad. The end of my current one fucked up and the one I had to use was a screwed one anyway. So I'm on my laptop, which is annoying, and I'm conserving power on my pad to do daily stuff. It should be here Friday, but I'm hoping for sooner.

As such I've not been able to work on my fic, which I would've finished by now otherwise, ugh. I want to finish it and brainstorm ideas for spook me.

Healthwise I'm better. It seems Saturday night made it all come to a head which is good I guess.

Food shop came yesterday with Detective Pikachu and the guy was nice and gave me a load of heroes cards (over 30!) so now I'm almost done. Anyone have any of them?

I've not read through my comics/magazine/book, because the afternoons have been dark and today I went all tired. Hopefully I'll read more tomorrow.

I've not done much nightly gaming but I did do Stellaris some more. I'm gonna try some other game pass games tonight for the Gamerscore event then go on Blair Witch and Devil May Cry before the end of the week.

I've also started watching the new Disenchantment eps and what the hell? I've watched the first two eps and those were wild. I loved King Zog saying 'Bite my shiny metal ax!'

I've done more Link's Awakening though. There's two main dungeons left to do and earlier I caught a cheep cheep on the fishing game which was pretty cool. I could spend ages on the claw game though. I need more money on it for the last chamber dungeon tile.

I also got untitled goose game. It's fun so far though I've only done the garden. Honk! It's fun being a goose

Tomorrow is the official reveal of Force Friday stuff with some of the actors and a new game trailer. At this point it seems a bit... late. With all the leaks it's took the wind out of their sales a lot but... we'll see.

So on Monday I continued my Doctor Who watch with Warriors Gate. I didn't remember much about it, other than it was Romana's last episode. After watching it, I have no strong feelings about it. It has some interesting concepts and some nice effects (like the explosion) but it also has some bad ones and it just feels... I dunno.

The documentary reveals that there was trouble behind the scenes, so I think that's what effected the production (the direct had a vision for it but the budget just wasn't there, he even got fired at one point!) Adric is also rather unused, spending most of the time just wandering around the nothingness.

Then there's Romana leaving, which is very... abrupt. Like happens in the very last scenes abrupt. There's no build up to it and the aliens saying 'we need a time lord' comes out of nowhere too. (It's mentioned in the documentary that it should have been fitted in as a subplot)

Ah well. I vaguely remember liking the next on The Keeper Of Traken so I hope my memory is good. I get the feeling I'll wish I had season 19 after it and Logopolis (damn it being so much).

I love the collection special features and I'm looking forward to the ones on season 22. It makes me wonder if they'll do ones for the new series eventually.

Gonna watch Taskmaster now though
