You’re from outside the island?
Sep. 21st, 2019 01:39 pmMy health is still a bit odd. My stomach feeling funny comes and goes. It felt better last night then this morning it was funny again (coupled with my voice going). I’m not sure if it’s a bug I’ve picked up or if it’s down to stress. (Having to juggle everything round for the bag has been irritating as has worrying about getting the stupid thing paid off.) Of course mum seems to think it’s due to my meds (it’s not) or if it’s just something to miss the streetpass cause something is wrong there (it’s not).
There was a streetpass meet today for Zelda that I was thinking of going to, but it became more obvious it was unlikely as the month went on. First the bag nonsense, then feeling unwell and worrying the game wouldn’t come at all. It seemed destined not to go. I’ve not been to one in awhile because a few have been on Sundays which are bad for me. I hope the next one will be better.
Speaking of Zelda, Link’s Awakening did come yesterday. It looks and sounds beautiful, but I’m still a little unsure on if it’s different enough to justify the full game price. Ah well. I’ve done the first three dungeons and will take my time with it as best I can, though I’m sure it’ll only take me a week to do the main game. (It’s also amusing to see how useless Tarin is and the crane game could easily be addictive since there’s new stuff)
The streetpass even contest was to do a speed run to the third dungeon and, honestly, I know I’d be bad at it so...
Untitled Goose Game came out yesterday too and I’m gonna get it Monday. It looks so fun! You play as a Goose causing mischief for some villagers and it just looks so wild and funny. The trailers have always made me laugh so I’m looking forward to it. (Seriously check out the trailers if you can)
I also got my comics delivery yesterday at the same time as Zelda. I only read Collapser though, which I still love because it’s so strange and different. I’ll read the other comics soon, maybe some today and some next week.
The past few nights I’ve ended up watching Netflix cause I’ve not felt like gaming much. I’ve watched Nailed it which is just... some of these cooks are hopeless (though I do think the last challenge is pretty hard most of the times and I think they do well considering). I’m hoping to start the new Disenchantment eps this weekend.
I’m gonna try and finish the Claudio fic this weekend, maybe today while I play catch up with tv stuff.
The Xbox challenge started the other day. The challenge is that you have 10 days to get gamerscore points from achievements and each point will equal an Xbox reward point. The trouble is, it’s only for 20 games of which most of them are games where achievements are... well, difficult to earn. For all the will in the world I don’t see anyone earning the promised maximum of 10,000 points. A lot of people have complained how the campaign running up to it was vague and misleading (as well as lacking the latest games like Gears). I dunno if I’d even try it, but two of my current games are on there (Blair Witch and Devil May Cry) so we’ll see.
This morning’s Magnus Archives felt a bit long winded even though it was fairly short and seemed to imply there was a version of the archive in Alexandria (and Gertrude suspected there was) curious.
