We can be immortals
Feb. 9th, 2020 11:12 pmPeople are being exhausting again. I wish people weren’t jerks in the Waycest tag on twitter again. It’s like they don’t understand stuff like ‘don’t like don’t read’. They’re nothing more than jerks at best, bullies at worst. I’ve blocked them but they still grind my gears.
Today has mostly been uneventful. I’ve caught up on Star Wars Resistance both eps being entertaining as well an ep of Avenue 5 and Cats Does Countdown.
Right now I’m watching the rest of the first disc of the Clone Wars.
Earlier I watched Who too, so here are my thoughts on the new ep.
First I loved that there were more references to old Who. The Eternals, Guardians and Toymaker also got referenced as immortal beings, which I thought was a nice touch.
The ep was another one that started with everyone being separated which seems to be a theme lately. It was nice to get a glimpse of the companions back home though, and it was amusing seeing the Doctor alone still thinking she had a companion and explaining things aloud.
The main bad guy was so creepy with his fingers coming off and going to peoples ears like that. As was the fact he appeared in nightmares and such. I had a feeling that the station he was using wasn’t his, which was proven true when it was revealed it was there because of the prisoner. Of course the doctor would try and free them without thinking they may actually deserve to be them. (And an immortal locked in an impossible prison? That reminded me of The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit) I liked how each of their nightmares were different too
Overall it was a pretty good ep. It seems it leads straight into the next one with the mention of Frankenstein too.
