After the last post, the food shop came. I got some good cards from Sainsbury’s, including Poe and Maz. Soon after that though, my stomach acted up. So I spent most of Tuesday afternoon/night resting. Thankfully it passed, so by the next morning I was ok.

Bake off was bread week and it started with tear and share bread. So many of them sounded nice. Tuesday night I didn’t do much, I watched some Who special features but I was pretty tired so went up fairly early.

Wednesday morning I felt much better and The Magnus archives episode ended up being so creepy. An entity inside the archives, in the same room as Jonathan? Sure we had the hive come in some episodes prior but this was sudden and without warning.

I did some writing in the morning, but not the Frank/Ray fic. Instead I started something for a fic challenge and I’ve done it I think, even though it’s not needed till next week.

I did do some reading yesterday too. I read some of the Whoniverse book and started Black Spire. I got the first two chapters done, which are set during the time frame of The Force Awakens. It’s odd though, because it seems to suggest that Leia was well on her way to Takodana before getting the message that BB-8 was there. (She left D’qar one night, then the next morning Hosnian Prime got destroyed. But the Falcon with BB-8 arrived on Takodana the same day Starkiller fired and there’s really no wiggle room.) I meant to read more today, but I’ve not. I did read more Whoniverse though, finishing another chapter.

I heard back from the uni, but I don’t qualify for the bursary which sucks.

Also last night was Taskmaster and this is definitely one of the best groups on there, they’re such a fun group. I know I’ve said it before but it really is the funniest show on tv.

I did some Elder Scrolls online and ugh, I’m done with the imperial city event. It’s so frustrating. You can’t get anything done there without other players trying to kill you. Ugh. I’ve done Pokemon masters some more too and I’m in the league now but each battle is irritating.

I finished the last of the Who special features on the full circle disc, which was about the guy that played Adric. It’s amazing he’s so together really and I loved the book he had for books in his apartment. Plus he has a husband which is really sweet.

I’ve organised some of the DVDs and blu rays by the Xbox in hopes I actually get around to watching them. I might try watching something this weekend.

Gears 5 send out some credits and I used some of them to get the pansexual banner, which is great. I love that they’ve got all the pride flags, especially since it’s such a butch game. I’m gonna get back on it tonight,

Because of mum’s eyes she didn’t go to the library today either. She’s gonna go Saturday but it’s been so annoying having to put the damn things in. (And having her around us annoying too)

Tonight I’m gonna try and write as well as watch this week’s master chef before gaming (Gears and AC).

The books for my uni course came today, of course while I was eating. I’m gonna try starting reading it next week. One of the first things with it is a video though so I’ll definitely get that out the way.

A lot of the tear and share breads did sound good but overall I was a little bit underwelmed this week. There was nothing that I was like I need to either try and make this or I want to immediately eat this, but I suppose part of that is bread week in general and also we were pretty damn spoilt with biscuit week. Do you have a favourite yet?

Yeah, I agree with you there. The rest of the breads didn’t sound too great (though some of the showstopper ones did look nice). Yeah bread week is always a bit underwhelming for me too I think

Not yet, I’m still a bit of a faileith names so far. How about you?

Oh yeah, I'm terrible with names, but there's a couple I like. The younger guy that plays the organ is very sweet and does some interesting things, and the welsh lady that did the red dragon a couple of weeks ago tends to do things that catch the eye.

What do you think of the idea of Dairy week? I'm not convinced. I hope we get spice week again, although considering how many of the bakes have had chilli in them already maybe we don't need it.

i haven’t gotten around to playing gears 5 yet but am even more convinced to do so because of the inclusion of pride banners! i love that video games are becoming more inclusive towards minorities since there is a lot of hatred for LGBT people in the fan base. <333

I wasn’t really fussed about playing it until I saw the post about the banners (there’s at least 15 I think!) but it’s actually pretty good! I’m gonna go back on the campaign soon because the opening love looked pretty and I’m intrigued. But yeah, having all of the flags was a great. Surprising thing! And the haters can suck it

That really does suck about the bursary :(

I enjoyed Taskmaster a lot this week, the group are meshing so well. I also enjoy Bake Off and bread week, but agree, there were no stand out moments even though loads of stuff looked good. In terms of bread I always remember the lion from a few seasons ago, but there was nothing like that this time.
