It’s funny you should mention that because it was just this week that those episodes played for me. I have to agree with you (and the article which I just skimmed) that her wanting a child seems to come out of nowhere. I found it strange that they’d never once talked about it before or during their engagement (and wanting a child is a big thing!). All of a sudden she interacts with a child and bam! She suddenly wants one! It just felt odd and I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking that.
It seems they found out the actress was unavailable and then rushed to come up with a way to end things (though I suppose we should be glad she wasn’t just killed off, although if she had she at least has a dangerous job which would make it understandable)
I’d heard it gets political but I guess we’ll see. *hugs* I can’t say I blame you (or others) not watching because of that though
