I like how this opens, with Matt just being dismissive and basically setting the scene for things to come. There's no shame in him wanting to leave but the way he completely disregards the others and refuses to compromise with what he wants just leaves a bad taste, y'know.
It feels right that Matt chose his 'replacement' and considered Lucas, even though he is just a filthy little fanboy 😅😆 And I love that Lucas doesn't clock him right away...he's really happy to get Matt's praise/approval, and is just worried whether everything is okay with Matt. And then instantly just gets a thud down to reality. I get the impression that maybe Matt had a bit of a 'front' when they did their CDADIC/Hours/TDTT tour with them because the way Lucas reacts gives the impression he feels this is out of character for Matt. Also the way he looks down on him for being younger, viewing him as naiive. Well damn, haha.
I also enjoyed the perspective from Matt's side. He doesn't want to play with the band any more, but he still wants to be the centre of attention despite everything. How he feels he has to give a statement about his departure, and "feels sorry" for Lucas because he can't measure up to him, hoping that he'd be crushed under the pressure.
And then Lucas' return 👀 The way he speak to him, upset but doing his best to hide it, as he tells Matt his behaviour was shitty. He's cool with the torch being passed to him and taking over, but you can really see his perspective as a fan of the band, really pissed off at Matt for not doing anything as a way for fans to say goodbye.
And then bless him. He *still* wants to believe there's good in Matt. How Lucas says that he thought the other guys were exaggerating when they'd spoken to him about Matt's poor attitude, and how even though he has come with a solution, he is still crushed when Matt just continues to exhibit shitty, selfish behaviour. Telling him he's worthless, that the fans won't accept him. I choose to believe Lucas showed up still not entirely convinced he was going to go through with everything, that he wanted Matt to prove to him that he wasn't a shitty person. But he just digs himself deeper and deeper, making things worse if anything.
Loved that you went with my suggestion for the hood. It really worked! :D How Matt is immediately clawing at it and Lucas just remains calm, saying to relax because it's easier that way 👀 And how as soon as he opens his mouth, he becomes gagged. It's kind of like the reverse of the others, with him being gagged first and filled later.
I like to think that sweet, submissive Lucas doesn't speak in a particularly 'commanding' way to Matt, but due to the rubber taking control of Matt's brain, he hears it as such when he tells Matt to come with him into the living room? Same with when he instructs him to stick his arms out and he undresses him...he's just talking to Matt, but Matt can't help but obey and view him as domineering. I really loved that 😍
And you can tell that it has a quick effect on him, maybe the hood is more overpowering so it's a little quicker for Matt to fully obey because unlike others, he's pleased and happy to be encased before it even properly happens. How he immediately felt that it was wrong he hadn't had anything inside him in so long, how it felt right that he was completely covered...and also how he understands it's weird there's something 'filling' his ass from inside the rubber but doesn't question it in the slightest.
The mention of Darran's rubber kink, and how Matt understood the appeal. Heh. It just has to be done 😍😂😂
“Soon there won’t be much of you left.” Matt wasn’t sure what he meant by that, but if it was important Lucas would tell him so and if it wasn’t he didn’t deserve to know. - BEST LINE IN THE WHOLE FIC. I love this so much, you can see he is completely gone at this stage...his only 'thoughts' being of obedience towards Matt, and knowing that is the only thing of importance to him. He doesn't need to think for himself any more if Lucas is thinking for him!
AND FINALLY THE ENDING OF HIM WITH ANTHONY. I have to admit, when I first read this I was really hoping it would be him, heh. Especially of the description of him looking so natural in his 'kinky' look whilst Lucas is still a bit of a duck out of water. I'm sure Anthony is a very good teacher for him though, heh.
This was great, loved it so much, and I'm really looking forward to the next bits!
