I enjoyed the Minecraft film. Though, I've never played the game, so know some of the in jokes would have gone straight over my head.
I also saw Death of a Unicorn yesterday and was talking to one of the Odeon staff members I know while booking in, and he was saying how Minecraft was getting three standing ovations during the showings, and it seems it's a thing with the audience interacting like that.
My showing didn't have those, no doubt because it was early on Friday, but I'm wondering if I would have found it fun or annoying.
Glad you got to see it so soon. And yes, to Steve and Garrett and the riding, I didn't expect that either!
