A very quick fly by post (mainly cause ugh I feel so rough I’ve definitely picked something up from being around people) but the call just happened.

So as opposed to yesterday, which kept me waiting and had to be chased up, today’s was actually a full hour and a half early (due to a cancellation). It was a little hard to follow what she was saying (part cause the line wasn’t great, part cause of my head) but it seemed to be mostly a check up.

I passed the phone to mum when she wanted to know how it looked (cause I can’t see) but then mum asked the question ‘do you have a result yet’. I expected it to be a no, but she kept talking to mum (instead, you know, telling me the person it referred to).

But good news! It’s ’nothing to worry about’ I dunno if mum was told exactly what it was or if she was just reassured, but it’s not cancer which is a good thing. The results are being sent in writing to the doctor so we should be able to get a copy after Friday.

And then, instead of the phone being handed back to me so I could hear for myself, that was it.

So yay? But also I wish I knew what it was instead of what it wasn’t. (And so I could ask other questions too.) but I guess when we’ll see when I get the paperwork.

(And yeah I can’t help but be a bit sceptical after having a reassuring call last time and then them being all ‘we need another biopsy’ not long after)

So yay? Maybe?
