Eternal Darkness sounds so cool! I'd love it if it did get a revival.
Trick 'r Treat is so good. I love my special little boy Sam.

I mostly really enjoyed the IWTV show. The changes they've made to the book canon are really thoughtful and well-used, and I think they've explored things cleverly and empathetically overall. My only real gripe is the introduction of violence that seems more like an attempt to bring in Game of Thrones audiences than anything else - that character is emotionally abusive in the canon, for sure, but he isn't physically violent because he was physically abused by his father and he absolutely loathed that. I wish they'd let the emotional abuse stand on its own in the story - the way it's presented, it feels like they thought emotional abuse isn't 'real' enough and they had to underscore it with physical abuse, and I really hate that. Emotional abuse is real and it matters to those who have suffered through it, and I wish that had been left as it was. Knowing they're going for that stupid fucking Game of Thrones angle, I can't really safely watch the rest of the show - I'm watching it, and tentatively looking forward to next season, but I have to watch it vigilantly instead of just sitting back and enjoying the show, and I hate that. But overall, if you're adequately warned, I think it's a great show.
