Two good, one bad

Well that was a wild afternoon of announcements.

First there’s a new Lego Star Wars Saga overview trailer which looks awesome! But better yet there’s finally a release date, after being delayed for so long. It’s coming out April 5th.

Second is the next Doctor Who collection, which is for Season 22. It’s not one I remember terribly fondly, but I loved Mark Of The Rani. Hopefully seeing them all together in context will improve my thoughts, so I’m looking forward to it.

Lastly is a bad one… because Set It Off have had to postpone the uk/Europe tour again which really really sucks. I was so looking forward to it, especially since the Birmingham date was Maxx’s birthday. Boo. Hopefully it’s not put back too much but still.

On another plus side Midna’s decided to curl up on my lap, which is a rarity so I’m so 🥰

I'm sorry about Set It Off. I guess it was inevitable, but that doesn't make the news any less shit. I'm waiting for the announcement about Wage War (also from the US) postponing/cancelling theirs. I think it's probably only going to be UK bands touring here for the next few months from the looks of things. :/

Yep. All of the euro tours I've wanted to go to have been cancelled or postponed. I booked a week off work to attend a whole week of gigs but I just have one left now, Paradise Lost. Oddly, Moonspell still seem to be supporting them but I'm fully expecting them to drop out at the last moment. We shall see.

Mark of the Rani is probably the only Sixth Doctor story I can bear to watch. I really, really don't like his run. The Rani is totally awesome though and makes up for everything else.

Honestly it’s my favourite one of his whole run easily, she’s amazing in it (and I really wish she’d have been bought back in the new series, but I suspect it’s too late now)

But yeah his run really isn’t the best from what I remember. I think the only ones I really liked was mark of the Rani and veroids, but we’ll see if this changes my mind!
