shadowhiveMood has improved a little, though I’m still not 100%. My stomach and headache seem to come and go and while they’ve mostly eased it’s still there. It’s meant I’ve not had the focus to even open the laptop to do uni assessment which is annoying. I’d messaged my tutor saying I’d felt like this but I’ve not heard anything back.
It’s also annoying that I can’t take my meds when I’m like this (cause I worry ill either throw them up or cough) which probably hasn’t helped my mood. (And I get a hacking cough whenever I have to bend down)
However, good news, Maxx started streaming again Monday. He’s gonna be doing weekdays for the next few weeks (at least until he moves next month) and just hearing his voice was nice again. I just wanna squish him. The Set It Off livestream is Saturday too so I’m glad about that, though I’m still unsure as to the timing. Whatever, I’ll make it work.
Yesterday was good because there was an announcement about the Animal Crossing update, which is coming tonight. It includes the next two festivals, some added hairstyles and reactions and, finally, more storage! Sure I’d prefer an actual house expansion but this works too.
(I’ve still not been on Mario Sunshine or done more of the Crown Tundra dlc though, oops. And I doubt I’ll do either before Hyrule Warriors comes)
It was also good yesterday to hear from both of my loves, which was nice.
I finished reading Lesser Known Monsters which I got on kindle. I don’t often get kindle books, though it’s hard to navigate because someone *eyes mum* gets all the free ones and there’s a ton of them. But anyway, I loved it. I wanna hug Oscar so much and it’s so good to actually have a Queer horror novel. So I’d definitely say pick it up. (I don’t wanna say more cause spoilers)
The Empire Strikes Back From A Certain Point Of View book came Sunday, so I’m gonna start it later. I loved the first book, which was based on A New Hope and had short stories based on people during it, so I’m looking forward to this one.
Writing is still... elusive. It’s annoying because I’ll start things and then just... stop. Like I started that Madina fic after the first show and then when I look at it I can’t seem to come up with more (despite knowing what I wanna do with it) it’s so annoying. Maybe I should just give up with it. Or try and do one of tua ones instead.
Speaking of an odd thing happened the other night. I had an AO3 notification saying I had a gift work but when I looked it was only one word (a short jumble of letters). I left a comment asking if it had messed up while posting but got no response and now it’s gone. Strange.
Last night I ended up starting Julie and the phantoms, because I was curious (largely because of Booboo being in it) and the first ep is just so fun. I love this ghost himbo band already and I want to smush them. I’m gonna try and watch more tonight, if I’m not tired or anything.
Now I’m gonna finish noms and try and read some.
