So I just had an email from the uni, saying the result was on the website (why they couldn’t just say in the email itself is ??) so I checked and I passed! So that’s one good thing

You did the good stuff, it should be acknowledged :)

(the reason, incidentally, that they don't email the results, is because you've all had the same email sent via a populating mailing list profoma and there's too high a risk of the wrong results being emailed to the wrong students. Hence results are only recorded in one place, and you are directed to go and review those instead)
