shadowhiveThe past few days haven’t been too exciting. I’ve felt tired a lot and I’m not sure if it’s the stress catching up with me, that I’m coming down with a cold or if it’s just general tiredness. We’ll see I suppose. I have had some mail though. Birthday stuff from my friend and my love, as well as the Star Wars book I ordered with Cal. It’s called How To Not Get Eaten By Ewoks and other Galactic Survival skills and it’s so funny! It covers so much stuff too, I’ve seen references to all 10 films so far, Rebels, The Clone Wars, some of the books and even Galaxy’s edge.
Speaking of Galaxy’s Edge I’ve been really bad at reading Black Spire. I think I’ve only read two chapters this past week. I’ve also not read the comics that came a few weeks back despite some being the one of age of resistance ones. I’ll have to try and read them soon. I definitely wanna get Black Spire finished before my trip (more on that later). I also need to get back to listening to The Magnus Archives more too.
I also got back in sync with kinktober... then back out of sync again due to tiredness. Ugh.
Tomorrow is my birthday. Since I lost my grandparents I’ve always been eh about it and then last year made me feel more so. I’m feeling better about this one though. I have something from my love and Vin, plus I know some of the people from discord are doing fic so...
Birthday plans are nothing special. Opening things, watching Aquaman and snuggling. Plus there’s red velvet cake which is a plus.
I’m gonna try and order Fall Order when my money goes in. Cdkeys has the deluxe version up for a full £30 less then retail and that’s a huge saving. It dents the money a bit, but I can use the money from mums friend to help. (As nice as the box from game is it’s a huge chunk of money)
I’m still trying to decide with to do about Pokemon Sword and Shield. I might just get Shield and collect it from the store in Birmingham, or order it as a digital code from shop to. If only that damn preorder statuette wasn’t so nice. We’ll see.
Next week I’ve gotta pick up mum’s meds Monday and then the rest of the week is kinktober, finishing chapter 4 of uni and doing the fic for spook me... which is another thing I’ve failed at doing. Hopefully I’ll get it done before the posting date. The Outer Worlds is out next week too on game pass so I wanna check it out.
The following week is doing the first Uni assessment, which I want done before I go.
The next streetpass meet is 2 weeks away, but I’m not sure about going. I’ve missed so many of them and it would be nice to see everyone, but it’s money and I’m not gonna have a copy of luigi’s mansion to go on. We’ll see how I feel closer to the time.
On the morning of the 8th I head to Birmingham for 10 days. It’s not the furthest I’ve been away, but it’s the first time I’ve been away from home for a long time. Plus it’s my first time meeting my love, so I’m understandable nervous about the whole thing and my anxiety doesn’t help. Nor does my general lack of money. Heather tries to reassure me but I can’t help but worry. Hopefully we’ll go to the sea life center and we’ll be going to Leeds to see Vin. So during that time I won’t be online too much.
Anyway I’m gonna snug and watch space 1999 now on the horror channel player as well as work on fic.

How To Not Get Eaten By Ewoks... looks EXCELLENT - I hadn't heard of it before and I've just ordered it for D's xmas (which means I'll also be able to read it ;)).
Birmingham sounds like it's going to be excellent - I can see how you would be nervous, but I'm sure you'll have a lovely time <3 <3
